నిజాం పరిపాలనలో ఉన్న తెలంగాణలో ఓ గిరిజన ప్రాంతంలో ఈ కథ మొదలైoది...నిజాం ను కలవడానికి వచ్చిన ఓ బ్రిటిష్ దొర ఓ గోండు పిల్లను బలవంతంగా తీసుకువెళతాడు.ఆ గోండు జాతి కాపరి కొమురం బీమ్ కి (ఎన్టీఆర్) ఈ విషయం తెలుస్తోంది...!
కొమురం బీమ్ తమ గూడెం పిల్ల కోసం దొరల ఏలుబడిలో ఉన్న ఢిల్లీ లో అడుగు పెట్టి అక్కడ విధ్వంసం సృష్టించి ఆ పిల్లను రక్షిస్తాడు... దాంతో కొమురం బీమ్ ను ఎలాగైనా పట్టుకునే బాధ్యతను సీతారామరాజు (రామ్ చరణ్) కు అప్పగిస్తోంది బ్రిటిష్ ప్రభుత్వం...!
అయితే,రామరాజు కొమురం బీమ్ లోని నిజాయితీ,మంచి తనం నచ్చి అతనికి సాయం చేస్తాడు. బ్రిటీష్ ప్రభుత్వానికి ఎదురు తిరిగినందుకు రామరాజు కు బ్రిటిష్ ప్రభుత్వం మరణ శిక్ష విదిస్తుంది...!
ఈ విషయం ఏమి తెలియని భీమ్ అనుకోకుండా సీతను(అలియా భట్) కలుసుకుంటాడు... ఆమె పెట్టిన సద్ధి తిని ఆకలి తీర్చుకున్న భీమ్ ఆమె కష్టానికి కరిగిపోతాడు.మను వాడిన వాడు ఉరి కంభం ఎక్కబోతున్నాడని సీత కన్నీరు పెట్టుకుంటుంది. రామరాజు గురించి బీమ్ కు మొత్తం నిజం తెలుస్తోంది. నీ భర్త రాముడు లాంటివాడు,రాముడుకి కష్టం వస్తే వెళ్లాలిచింది సీతమ్మ కాదు,ఈ లక్ష్మణుడు అంటూ కొమురం భీమ్ మళ్ళీ బ్రిటిష్ పై అటాక్ చేసి రామరాజును జైలు నుంచి తప్పిస్తాడు...!
ఇలా మొదలైన వీరి స్నేహం చివరకు ఎలాంటి మలుపు తీసుకుంది? బ్రిటిష్ ప్రభుత్వం పై భీమ్,రామరాజు కలిసి ఏ విధంగా పోరాటం చేశారు? అనేది మిగిలిన కథ! మిగతా కథ స్క్రీన్ పై చూస్తేనే బాగుంటుంది...!

నటీనటులు విషయానికి వస్తే...ముందుగా ఎన్టీఆర్,చరణ్ ల గురించి మాత్రమే చెప్పుకోవాలి...ఎన్టీఆర్,చరణ్ ల నటన హృదయాలను హత్తుకుంటుంది...
ఇద్దరి పాత్రల మధ్య ఎమోషన్స్ గుండె బరువెక్కిలా ఉన్నాయి...కథను బట్టి ఇద్దరి ఐడియాలజీ వేరు అయినా ఉత్తర,దక్షిణ,దృవాల్లా ఇద్దరు చెరోదారిలో తమ ప్రయాణం సాగించినా...రెండు పాత్రల మధ్య బాండింగ్ ను రాజమౌళి చాలా గొప్పగా ఎలివేట్ చేశాడు...!
ముక్ష్యంగా ఇంటర్వెల్ కి ముందు ఇద్దరి మధ్య భీకరమైన పోరు జరుగుతుంది. ఇద్దరు సింహల్లా ఒకరిపై ఒకరు దాడి చేసుకున్నా రెండు పాత్రల మధ్య ఎమోషన్స్ మాత్రం చెక్కు చెదరలేదు. సినిమాలో ఫస్ట్ సీక్వెన్స్ లో ఆడియెన్స్ కచ్చితంగా కన్నీళ్లు పెట్టుకుంటారు...!
హీరోలు ఇద్దరు తమ పాత్రలకోసం పడిన కష్టం అద్భుతం... ఆ విషయంలో ఇద్దరిని మెచ్చుకోవాలి. ఈ సినిమాలో మిగిలిన కీలక పాత్రల్లో నటించిన మిగతా నటీనటులు ఎవరు పాత్రల్లో వాళ్ళు అద్భుతంగా నటించారు...!
ఫస్ట్ ఆఫ్ లో ఎన్టీఆర్... చరణ్ ల ఇంట్రడక్షన్ సీక్వెన్స్,అలాగే విజువల్ ఎఫెక్ట్స్ అత్యంత అద్భుతంగా ఉన్నాయి...!
చరణ్...అలియా మధ్య కెమిస్ట్రీ కూడా అద్భుతంగా వర్కౌట్

అలాగే ఏమోషనల్ గా సాగే ఈ సినిమా క్లైమాక్స్ ను ముందే ఏ ప్రేక్షకుడు ఉహించలేడు. అసలు ఉహించని రీతిలో క్లైమాక్స్ ని డిజైన్ చేయడం నిజంగా గొప్ప విషయమే!
