Wow what a coincidence... I have been driving some boxes today and put down my back seats and notice there is something different, my Abarth was so lound and then I found this video :D . Will try also with the vent :P
The same day I bought and picked up my new fiat 500 I took it to the Muffler Man and had him cut all the silencers and muffler clean off starting just after the Cats, had him straight pipe with 2 inch stainless steel this was back in 2012 and the car still sounds the same amazing!!
Another extremely cheap mod its the Popoff filter mod, just buy any 25mm breather filter, and a 25mm blanking plug from ebay, cost me less than £10 and allows you to hear the dump valve, Just a little peice of pipe comes off from the tube at the top of engine, follow it back to the recirc valve, pop off the clips and put the breather filter on where the pipe comes off the recirc valve, then block off at the metal tube going back to Air filter. Simple takes five mins, Sooo much fun, and its a safe mod. Makes a nice Phshshshhs when let off the go faster pedal. 😄
I recommend doing the rear seat delete you will loose about 45lbs, and will sound loader without taking the vent cover off also car will feel alot quicker
I've got a ragazzon straight through system with the remote volume control valve and novitec corse racing rear section / pipes at the rear, if you want sound get one, way better /louder than the standard system, nicely muted when cruising but when you blip the pedal it roars, my son said it sounds like a porsche coming down the road, expensive to buy but an abarth needs it, totally transformed my car with the bonus of xtra power!
it cant sound like a porsche its a fkn turbocharged 1.4 flat 4... and like all abarths it will get quiter the more u push the gear. only pathetic ricer cracking and popping under 1200rpm and no sound at all when u take ur slow and boring journey to the revlimiter. guess u never heard a real 1.6 flat 4 rally engine...
You do realize that those flaps opens automatically when you are starting the engine? Just remove the "Competizione" cover in the trunk behind the seats and fold down the carpet and you will get a lot more noise inside the car...
I thought it would be better to sound louder outside of the car not inside, plus as someone else said exhaust fumes kill ,perhaps that's why his skin is so shiny he has carbon monoxide poisoning 🤢
Exhaust fumes are a killer!
Not only that, you're not making the car twice as loud, you're just letting more noise into the cabin hahah
It is the factory air outlet so no exhaust enters the cabin.

Hi Marco. Did you wire monza flap to stay open (remove sprigs, and tied up flap at open position with steel wire )

With this tip dont You hear any plastic or metallic noise from inside of car?
+Alex Galli no not really. Obviously you hear road noise more but it’s really to hear that epic exhaust noise more.
