Yes! Husband and I had a discussion about this 20:23 the other day, too. Blood Sweat and Tears is such an iconic era. Wings album was CRAAZY good. You will need your emotional support towel for that one for sure haha BTW, as a Tae bias, you have to see the MAMA performance of this.. They did an Intro of Hobi and Jimin (Boy meets evil + Lie) then went to perform blood, sweat and tears and ended with Fire. Such a masterpiece performance. So yeah, THIS dance practice...very first thing of BTS I saw. So naturally I was hooked immediately. I asked my daughter, who is who? And I proceeded to binge watch ALL RUN BTS episodes, Bon Voyage seasons 1thru 3, which was in progress. This song is special to me. Your reaction was everything I was hoping it would be. LOL I don't know if it's when Jimin's androgyny was at it's peak, but this era is when it really took hold and just... wow. Not only does it look good on him, he also started to seem more comfortable in his own skin, if that makes sense. I'm relatively new-ish, but watching his progression in becoming more and more comfortable with himself over the years has been pretty great. I can only imagine what is was like in real time. Even seeing his progress in his journey (cheezy, but I have no other word for it) with Face was pretty amazing to experience. I always laugh when you call JK perfect. I know it’s the cliche, but watch enough content and you’ll see that he is so lovably imperfect. He’s a total goober-especially when he was very young and had a bit of a bratty streak. Not to mention (and I say this with pure affection), he’s a total weirdo. Just watch him in the background of any group activity, when the attention isn’t directly on him. He’ll be doing random exercises, or twisting his fingers in strange ways, or putting something inappropriate in his mouth. 😅 On top of that, JK sort of gets sensory-overload easily, and as a result spends so much time awkwardly zoning out, staring blankly into space, that it’s become a fandom meme. You really should watch the behind the scenes of making the video. It takes a lot of the “passion” out of it 😂🤣. Watching them make fun of Jin for having to kiss the statue and Suga was supposed to be the one to cover Jin’s face at the end and he was too short and they all got tickled and kept laughing so they switched to V. It really changes the whole video when you watch it 😂😂😂.

BST is one of the songs and you get to see the aformentioned famous Jimin-blindfold-dance thing with Hobi. Hi Pat! I truly enjoyed your reaction video. JK is hard for me to pinpoint, too. I believe his seduction quality comes from being the cherished Maknae of 6 older adoring brothers. The entire clip is filled with metaphors and personifications. At the beginning of the clip, Jin is standing in front of the "Fallen Angel" painting and at the end he is kissing the Fallen Angel. So yeah, THIS dance practice...very first thing of BTS I saw. So naturally I was hooked immediately. I asked my daughter, who is who? And I proceeded to binge watch ALL RUN BTS episodes, Bon Voyage seasons 1thru 3, which was in progress. This song is special to me. I've been ARMY ever since. 💜 Now I'm Atiny, Carat, Moa, Stay, and Black Rose, Eugene, EXO L, SO yes, I'm sleep deprived and broke but would not change a thing. I don't know if it's when Jimin's androgyny was at it's peak, but this era is when it really took hold and just... wow. Not only does it look good on him, he also started to seem more comfortable in his own skin, if that makes sense. I'm relatively new-ish, but watching his progression in becoming more and more comfortable with himself over the years has been pretty great. I can only imagine what is was like in real time. Even seeing his progress in his journey (cheezy, but I have no other word for it) with Face was pretty amazing to experience. It seems like he discovered the joy of comfy clothes during the pandemic and that somehow works for him too.

I always laugh when you call JK perfect. I know it’s the cliche, but watch enough content and you’ll see that he is so lovably imperfect. He’s a total goober-especially when he was very young and had a bit of a bratty streak.
Not to mention (and I say this with pure affection), he’s a total weirdo. Just watch him in the background of any group activity, when the attention isn’t directly on him. He’ll be doing random exercises, or twisting his fingers in strange ways, or putting something inappropriate in his mouth. 😅
On top of that, JK sort of gets sensory-overload easily, and as a result spends so much time awkwardly zoning out, staring blankly into space, that it’s become a fandom meme.
The other members are so used to his weirdness that they barely even react anymore-they just let him stim and do his thing. I remember watching a video where JK is just loudly slapping jimin’s thighs while jimin nonchalantly answers an interviewer’s question.
Man, I love JK. Even his imperfect parts are incredibly entertaining.

I suppose you understand why this song has been used during lectures at uni haha. You're definitely on the right track, but there's sooo much more hidden in this song/mv. I love the explanation video by Don't Worry I'm Not Afraid ( th-cam.com/video/5tlgAUE6yjg/w-d-xo.html ). Fellow reactor Cedric Gegel actually did a great job breaking it down too, though he did it twice - first time for the more "apparent" meaning, and second time for the underlying meanings from the BU.

Some trivia about cinematagraphy for u guys 👀:
• RM reads a paragraph of "Demian" by Herman Hesse at 2:30 in the music video. And at the very beginning, RM is shown reading "Demian" by Herman Hesse.

You really should watch the behind the scenes of making the video. It takes a lot of the “passion” out of it 😂🤣. Watching them make fun of Jin for having to kiss the statue and Suga was supposed to be the one to cover Jin’s face at the end and he was too short and they all got tickled and kept laughing so they switched to V. It really changes the whole video when you watch it 😂😂😂.

I waited for this! Thanks, Pat, for another great reaction. I already said it on another video, but you should react to MAMA 2016 full live performance (it's only 12 min). BST is one of the songs and you get to see the aformentioned famous Jimin-blindfold-dance thing with Hobi. Songs from the Love Yourself Album I would recommend are Mic Drop (Steve Aoki Remix) and Pied Piper and Dimple. For the last two, there is a beautiful live performance, where they perform the songs in queue. Just type both songs in the search bar and it will pop up.

Hi Pat! I truly enjoyed your reaction video. JK is hard for me to pinpoint, too. I believe his seduction quality comes from being the cherished Maknae of 6 older adoring brothers. They each supported him through puberty and those difficult teen years. JK even said that he felt the members had left a small part of themselves with him, and he is a combination of them all.
