i personally associate this song with my ex, but not in the way i think most people do. for me, this is THEIR victory song.
i was the toxic one in the relationship. i was constantly lying and manipulating and controlling, and fucking with them in ways ranging from just being an annoying asshole to complete mind games that were impossible to win. but despite all my efforts, they won. they're still standing, and im left here forgotten.

i never hated them for this. in fact, it only makes me respect them more. its always enjoyable to see terrible people lose, to see people stand up against their abusers. they deserve way better in life than me, and im truly glad that they were able to get out of the hell i put them through.
