i personally associate this song with my ex, but not in the way i think most people do. for me, this is THEIR victory song. i was the toxic one in the relationship. i was constantly lying and manipulating and controlling, and fucking with them in ways ranging from just being an annoying asshole to complete mind games that were impossible to win. but despite all my efforts, they won. they're still standing, and im left here forgotten.
i never hated them for this. in fact, it only makes me respect them more. its always enjoyable to see terrible people lose, to see people stand up against their abusers. they deserve way better in life than me, and im truly glad that they were able to get out of the hell i put them through.
Your story Made us to think a lot of a response, because it takes a lot of bravery to do everything, from your perspective and the other ones, to keep going forward and don't look the past, the first step to become someone better it's to admit your mistakes, and be able to give them what they deserved. We hope you and the people around are doing a lot better, and becoming better persons.

I was familiar with Carpenter Brut for awhile (about 10 years or so) now but I only recently heard Stress by Justice (funny enough it was in GTA 5 Online Radio Station ) and I instantly knew that these 2 songs might work well together since they had that same style and energy to them. Couple of days later TH-cam recomends me this mashup. Funny how things sometimes work out. Amazing stuff! Thank you for doing what I was picturing inside my head.
