@@SoulSniperYT Hey man love your videos. I have a question. Is it a reasonable tactic to have a squad get a truck and follow tanks around so that armor has infantry cover at all times?
I tank command all the time. I love it, I think im okay at it. The most annoying person i've ever come across while tanking wasn't a new player (they actually tend to not be too bad, especially if they're willing to listen and learn!), is a veteran tanker who was driving. He just wouldn't listen to me, i told him "we have a panther to YOUR left who can't see is right now, do not move" he moved and we died. I gave him another chance, and similar case, just wouldn't listen to me, wouldn't go to my move markers, and was trying to command the fkin tank. Before i kicked him from the squad, i asked him "why?" he told me because he disagreed with what I wanted to do, which was support infantry, and he (im assuming anyways) was a lot more aggressive of a tank commander. The worst tanker i've ever played with BY FAR.
I've had similar experiences. The "Veteran" tankers sometimes are complete try-hard wannabes, and control freaks. That being said I've learned a lot from the ones who are willing to teach and aren't trying to cos-play as drill sergeants.
@@skynet1234567890 This is how it should be, people aren't always going to see things exactly the same way. As long as the tank crew can communicate these things accurately, respectfully, and with brevity it should not be an issue.
The armor in this game is probably some of the most fun I've ever had playing a WW2 shooter. I've been playing for only three days, and I can already tell that it's one of the most rewarding yet stressful things I've ever done. Even if you don't know your team well, I feel like if you are capable of pulling them together through base commands, its quite easy to become an effective tanker squad, especially through warfare. The ephemeral feeling of getting through a warfare server with one tank and one crew, with a stack of 80 kills and seven tank kills, is something i can genuinely never forget. German light tank can penetrate the back side of M3 Stuart and kill it in no-time; remember, that Pazershreck and PIAT can penetrate the front side of any medium tank in the game, while the Bazooka M1 should always look for a back shot (not side shot!) on any tank, exept the Recon; AT cannons will always penetrate your armour, but their TTK is pretty high for a heavy tanks; don't underestimate Boys and PTRS, they got enough ammo to kill 3 heavy tanks on their own; only light tank in a game with a driver's machine gun is an M3 Stuart. Just some quick tips.
I’m a new player and by far the most fun I’ve had is as a tanker, the feeling of successfully ambushing another tank and blowing shit up is grea. A lot of time on Xbox a lot of people are intimidated by it and it leads to solo tanking
There are a couple of things that i would like to add since i'm mostly playing with armor that soulsniper didn't mention but i think it's very important. With light tank you can't damage the fronttal armor of medium and heavy only the rear armor! Don't even bother shooting at the front and side armor of medium's and heavy's as a light because it's totally useless. Then there's the german luchs tank which can't even pen the back of the medium's and heavy's so don't even bother shooting at them with your main gun. Also with this tank you can only damage lights from the rear! This tank was mostly made to support infantry and destroy scout cars. If i know good you can only damage the side and rear armor of the scout cars with the luchs! When it comes to medium tanks again you can't pen the frontal armor of heavy. You can only damage it from the side and rear! So the heavy tanks are the only ones which can pen pretty much everything from every angle altough keep in mind that you might bounce off enemy heavies if you shoot at a really angled surface!
Assuming you need a two tanks for that, you need 6 guys working cohesively and flawlessly together for that to happen. If you're playing with 5 other friends who know what they're doing, the sky's the limit.
14:40 This is a bit misguided. Recons are amazing at taking out enemy tanks, especially mediums, you can disable engine before the can even react to turn. Heavies are easy as well with a semi decent crew. Lurking in enemy spawns where you know they are going to spawn in tanks and getting them when they come out is extrememly strong
As a relatively new player only a week into the game planning to try tank warfare. Shell penetration and tank "health" system is a bit arcadish, I thought it will be more like simulation in such a good game.
i was lucky one of the first times i played armor i found a crew i really meshed with. a hilarious moment was when we found another armor squad that had a women and our gunner just started yelling Gamer Gworl.
You can definitively solo tank. But you should only do it if there's barely any other armour and you only use light or recon. Maybe mid if theres no armour squads
In reality, tank crew members do not always coordinate well. So, it is not bad sometimesyou are solo tanker. Just play smart and find a good spot to attack infantries and vehicles. To not waste fuel, just drive light or recon tank.
19:58 Isn't observe markers visible to the commander of the team as well? Thus potentially covering up a tank mark for a commanders would be precision strike...
11:48 are you talking about AP? (using it in the video actually) 12:00 I think you didn't explain it well. It happens only If you have loaded it. It doesn't magically load AP when you switch to HE for example. So it's easier to remember that whatever you load will remain loaded until you fire even if you switch ammo type.
Every time I try to hop on a tank the rest of my crew doesn’t even go to the tank…. It’s really frustrating! I haven’t been able to get in a tank yet because of it
I can't get the "go directly to 4th gear from 1st gear" thing to work I max out my RPM then I hold shift but then it just like slowly goes through each gear one by one and loses all my rpm so I have to shift back down to 1 and start again. Can someone help me.
Is the armor more effective when you angle it? I play games like WOT and war thunder, armor works better in those games when you angle so is that the same here?
Depends on the angle and what tank but it won’t be the same experience compared to WoT and WT. Hint: don’t think you can sidescrape in a heavy vs heavy situation. Side armour gets overmatched at any angle

Nice video as always
It doesn't move slower when zoomed in. It just appears that way😊
Yes it does try comparing the movement while looking at the compass
Learned a lot from you.
Time to learn some more!
You can definitively solo tank. But you should only do it if there's barely any other armour and you only use light or recon. Maybe mid if theres no armour squads
I thought shooting the drivers mg was a weak spot on any tank it’s one of the weaker spots on the armor in real life
This right here got me 12:25 😭😂
I'm max out on my tanking. I have a crew, and if we decide to tank, we always win.
SoulSniper is the commander’s favorite commander.
Thanks for the video
Know that u had that fire in ur house wish u the best

Great videos man , thanks !
Glad you like them!
In reality, tank crew members do not always coordinate well. So, it is not bad sometimesyou are solo tanker. Just play smart and find a good spot to attack infantries and vehicles. To not waste fuel, just drive light or recon tank.
bout to dive balls deep on the bible raw
That vasectomy joke caught me off guard ngl
Haha
I play on PS5 I just don’t know how to find people to play with a crew let alone a squad. Also these videos helped a lot man.
Join my discord. Decent amount of console folks in there that you can chat with and coordinate play sessions
I play with a good bunch on ps5, we have a lot of fun while we play, give us your psn and I'll get in touch if you like
19:58 Isn't observe markers visible to the commander of the team as well? Thus potentially covering up a tank mark for a commanders would be precision strike...
The abomination in the thumbnail gives me nightmares
Lmao
Thank you!
These guides are going to make some fun tank play on servers, going to make it easy to kill you.
You won't kill me. Scotty and I are too sneaky. You'll never see us. ;)
I got someone addicted to tanking a couple days ago
11:48 are you talking about AP? (using it in the video actually)
12:00 I think you didn't explain it well. It happens only If you have loaded it. It doesn't magically load AP when you switch to HE for example. So it's easier to remember that whatever you load will remain loaded until you fire even if you switch ammo type.
What's cool is the turret cheeks of the panther Is medium armor so you can pen it in a medium
Every time I try to hop on a tank the rest of my crew doesn’t even go to the tank…. It’s really frustrating! I haven’t been able to get in a tank yet because of it
Are you using your mic? If you are (which you need to be), only allow people into your crew if they are using a mic.
great overview
I tried learning armor and the dude got mad at me because a 2nd tank killed us while i was reloading and kicked me from the team
Is your server still doing a competitive team? Joined the other day and wanted to check it out
Been watching your videos and playing on your server without making the connection and for some reason it just clicked...
cheers man! See you out there!
You won me at the fart joke.
I can't get the "go directly to 4th gear from 1st gear" thing to work I max out my RPM then I hold shift but then it just like slowly goes through each gear one by one and loses all my rpm so I have to shift back down to 1 and start again. Can someone help me.
is it still posibble to skip gears from 1 to 4? I'm not being able to switch that faster, specially when running away from infantry.
Hardest part about tanking is finding a good crew .
the thing i hate the most... is the driving, makes me sooooo maaaad
That thumbnail 💀
That's a real tank, damnit!
Let's frigging go
