    Hi paul, thanks for this.
I usually increase my product price at a significant margin from time to time, this makes my customers think I’m greedy, but on the other hand, as I grow personally, I discover I used to charge less compared to the value I offer/ I’m worth hence the change. How do I deal with situations like these? Or is there a thin line between greed & charging what you think you’re worth?

Pricing, like value, can be very subjective. The same product which seems expensive to one customer may be considered a bargain by another customer. In the absence of strong competitors against whom your prices may be compared, it’s best to benchmark your prices to the value your customers will get from your product. If a customer is grateful for the value you offer and is glad to pay your price, where is the greed?
PS: Greed is a relative term. Until there’s a benchmark or norm to compare your price against, there is no greed. Except the greed you feel is an internal feeling that’s likely happening because you’re comparing your prices against your costs. Remember, your costs are a private and internal information. This internal comparison is where I suspect the “feeling” of greed could be coming from.
Thank you for leaving a comment. Much appreciated.
