This is a song about the nature of all living things, the beauty and the majesty of life. The simplest of concepts yet the hardest one to put into a short song without losing the meaning. Nightwish and more specifically Tuomas managed to do it in an album, it is not a person or even people but the whole of life. The idea came from a book by Evolutionary scientist Professor Richard Dawkins, the book was The Greatest Show on Earth, Richard was impressed enough to do the readings for the album and even appeared on stage at THIS concert right at the end.
To me the song talks about the beginning of earth, the birth of creatures and nature, then us humans, the voyagers, traveling, discovering their beauty, including the very first music notes (like the birds songs) unknown up to that point
