Why would they do that? We know at this point they openly support global terrorists. I remember when I was younger reading about dystopian futures where the UN was the world’s enemy. I was always so confused, but now I get it. Islam’s reach permeates much further than men that love goats a little too much.
Yeah, suspiciously all the countries that respect human rights in their own countries voted no, and mostly dictatorships and theocracies and human rights violators voted yes... I think its clear who is on the right side of history. This was basically a kangaroo court vote, and is certainly counter productive to peace as it undercuts previous decision to end the occupation through negotiations.
The resolution is non-binding and doesn't mean anything legally. It was a useless token gesture. A waste of time. Judea and Samaria ('west bank') is Israeli sovereign territory and has been since May 14th 1948. It was owned by the British for 31 years before that, from 1917 to 1948. It was owned by Turkey for 400 years before the British, from 1516 to 1917.
@kel5944 the nakba is that war Palestinians started together with other militaries to try and eliminate Israel but lost...? So Palestinians also started their own Nakba instead or accepting UN resolution that would've given them more than they can ever hope to get today...
Individuals who facilitate harmful actions often avoid explicit condemnation, instead providing implicit endorsement through inaction. Similarly, international law and the UN have consistently failed to hold Israel accountable for alleged criminal and terrorist activities over the past seventy years, opting not to take action against Israel or the US.

Why haven't they passed a resolution demanding that Hamas release all the hostages immediately???
