This important interview by Gabriel Groisman of the new Israeli ambassador to the U.S. was my first introduction to Dr. Yechiel Leiter. He is both physically, mentally and intellectually impressive with a sound world view and agenda for the bright future of all peoples of goodwill. He is a perfect activistic intermediary between P.M.Netanyahu and Pres.-elect Trump. A brilliant appointment by our Churchillian leader.

I don’t know how he copes but pray that he has the strength and enough beautiful memories of his son, who gave his life to save others, to help him through this heartbreak. Bless him and all his family. May peace come soon and the hate in others’ hearts dissolve into compassion for all people.

I was deeply moved and pray for healing for his father, his friend and his entire family, especially his children. I always pray for healing of trauma after 20 years of war in the US. I know how important that is. I pray the same for the hostages. There is so much prayer going out to Israel and her people. That much prayer is no small thing.

When human lives are endangered, when human dignity is in jeopardy, national borders and sensitivities become irrelevant. Who were/are the indigenous people of the territory formerly known as the Mandate of Palestine?
The UN Factsheet titled “Who are Indigenous Peoples?”, is the best description we have of what constitutes an indigenous people. It lays out the characteristics that should be used to identify indigeneity. If we apply these characteristics to the Jews who in inhabited the Ottoman territory -- that came to be known as the Mandate of Palestine in September 1923 -- there is no doubt that they were and remain the indigenous people of what became the Mandate of Palestine, not the Muslim Arab inhabitants who had been the dominant people/citizens of the Ottoman Empire.
    Definition
The UN Factsheet states that, “[i]ndigenous people practice unique traditions, and retain social, cultural, economic and political characteristics that are distinct from those of the dominant societies in which they live.” In 1923, the Jews matched all of these criteria. The Muslim Arabs did not. Indeed, they were the dominant society. Their traditions, social, cultural, economic and political characteristics were tied to their identity as part of the Ottoman Empire in the region of Syria, specifically the Beirut Vilayet and Mutasarrifate of Jerusalem.
The factsheet further states, “[Indigenous people] are the descendants of those who inhabited a country or a geographical region at the time when people of different cultures or ethnic origins arrived and have retained distinct characteristics which are clearly different from those of other segments of the national populations.” The Jews of 1923 matched all of these criteria while the Muslim Arabs did not as they were “the people of different cultures or ethnic origins” that arrived in the region. “The new arrivals [Muslim Arabs] later became dominant through conquest, occupation, settlement or other means.” The Muslim Arabs conquered the area from the Byzantine Empire in the Seventh Century (634-636 AD) and claimed it as a province of the Rashidun Caliphate, succeeded by the Umayyad Caliphate in 661 AD. Indeed, up until 1923, when the Mandate was set aside by the League of Nations for the establishment of a national home for the Jewish people, the land had for almost 1800 years always been a small part of a wider region within an even wider empire. The last people to have a state or kingdom on the territory were the Jews, who predominated there for over 1400 years, during which they established three Jewish kingdoms (11th to 6th centuries BC), the Hasmonean Dynasty (140-37 BC), and the Bar Kochba Revolt’s independent provisional state (132-135 AD) while, in between, successive empires came and went including the Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks and Romans.
The UN Factsheet then states that, “[c]onsidering the diversity of indigenous peoples, an official definition of “indigenous” has not been adopted by any UN-system body. Instead, the system has developed a modern understanding of this term based on the following [characteristics]:” (noting in parenthesis () if the Jews pass or fail these requirements in 1923, and doing the same for Muslim Arabs in brackets [])
    • Self- identification as indigenous peoples at the individual level and accepted by the community as such. (pass) [fail]
    • Historical continuity with pre-colonial and/or pre-settler societies. (pass) [fail]
    • Strong link to territories and surrounding natural resources. (pass) [pass]
    • Distinct social, economic or political systems. (pass) [fail]
    • Distinct language, culture and beliefs. (pass) [fail]
    • Form non-dominant groups of society. (pass) [fail]
    • Resolve to maintain and reproduce their ancestral environments and systems as distinctive peoples and communities. (pass) [fail]
    Culture and Knowledge
“Indigenous peoples are the holders of unique languages, knowledge systems and beliefs and possess invaluable knowledge of practices for the sustainable management of natural resources.” The Jews matched these characteristics in 1923, the Arab Muslims did not. “[Indigenous peoples] have a special relation to and use of their traditional land.” The Jews had this traditional relationship with and use of the land, the Muslim Arabs did not. “[Indigenous peoples’] ancestral land has a fundamental importance for their collective physical and cultural survival as peoples.” For the Jews this was and is true, for Muslim Arabs it was and is not true. Modern Zionism was/is a nationalist movement designed to rescue the Jews of Europe (physically and culturally) from the rise of antisemitism and pogroms in Europe and the impending tragedy that its founders foresaw, and which materialized, in the advent of the Holocaust. Zionism was never a colonial enterprise. “Indigenous peoples hold their own diverse concepts of development, based on their traditional values, visions, needs and priorities.” The Jews matched this characterization in 1923, the Muslim Arabs of the Ottoman Empire did not.
    Political Participation
“Indigenous peoples often have much in common with other neglected segments of societies, i.e. lack of political representation and participation, economic marginalization and poverty, lack of access to social services and discrimination.” The Jewish dhimmis of the Ottoman Empire matched this description, the Muslim Arabs as full citizens of the Ottoman Empire did not. “Despite their cultural differences, the diverse indigenous peoples share common problems also related to the protection of their rights. They strive for recognition of their identities, their ways of life and their right to traditional lands, territories and natural resources.” The Jews matched this description, the Muslim Arabs did not.
    In Conclusion
The territory of the Mandate of Palestine was never a “corridor” for the Jews or just another province or district within a wider Jewish Empire. It was always and still is, the land that they believed God had bequeathed to their forefather Abraham and his descendants, passing through Isaac to Jacob, and then to his descendants, the people of Israel/Jews. To ratify this, the bible notes that Abraham contracted for its purchase with Ephron the Hittite for 400 shekels of silver. Moses led the Jews back there after their sojourn in Egypt, nowhere else, where they established two kingdoms and a dominant presence for some 1400 years. The Jews have had a continuous presence there ever since, albeit a tiny presence after they were mostly exiled and persecuted and/or subjugated to second-class status in the land by a succession of conquering civilizations and empires including Islam and the Ottomans. In 1923, Jews were the only people who had the characteristics required to claim indigeneity, and they still are the only people who have these characteristics. Their connection to the specific territory of Israel is a central pillar of their identity. The same cannot be claimed for the deceitfully branded “Palestinian Arabs”, not even remotely.

This is the same comment I will make in each video until this is over.:
I am always praying for you Israel and for the peace of Jerusalem: Psalm 122:6 “May they prosper who love you. 7May there be peace within your walls, and prosperity inside your fortresses.” 🇮🇱 🇮🇱 🇮🇱
There will be peace when the Prince of Peace comes.
Isaiah 9:6-7 6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.🫒

I have to respond it this insightful interview. There are a several points my Military Intelligence Officer Brigade Level training, my Armor Officer Company Level training, and my Political Science Degree from Temple University, can help to define future COAs (Courses Of Action). These are:
1: US power in the world can win wars but often loses the peace. Why? There are 2 reasons. 1ST, the US should not be like the OAU and defend meaningless Colonial Empire imposed borders UNLESS those areas have an educated population capable of comprehending a Federal/State system with States Rights and Individual Rights along with State National Guards. 2ND, when the US plans an Invasion it takes much time to war game options. However, the US has NO battle planning process to weigh options for Pacification/Pacification Corps, and Nation Building/Peace Corps. Pacification and Nation Building have to be planned BEFORE an Invasion to include probability of success in different options, costs, and whether the costs can be covered by natural resources or strategic value to US interests. This is what President Trump was elected to instill in the State Department and Defense Department.
2: Israel was rightly identified as critical to US future plans in both the Middle East and the eastern Mediterranean. Here are the important things Israel must do for peace. They are HEAVY lifts:
2A: Israel must be internally united for what is required. This means there is NO 2 State Solution. That option died when Arafat walked away.
2B: Israel must fulfill Zechariah 9:5-7 even if hardliners disagree. About 2.1 Gaza Palestinians must be expelled to Arab countries, maybe Yemen. However, about 200,000 Gaza Palestinians must become “a clan of Israel”. In other words, the Gaza Palestinian Remnant MUST become Israeli citizens. Of course, this means a security check. I expect many will be Christian and Bedouin minorities. There will also be Muslim collaborators. The Remnant will attend Israeli schools in their neighborhoods in Rafah and Khan Younis. After the IDF marks off its security zones and base areas, a new less dense street grid will be laid. The Remnant will get the 1ST Israeli quality housing. This will bring peace as Israel annexes Gaza. It could be a model for Judea and Samaria.
3: Israel has to also liberate southern Lebanon up to Christian areas in Beirut. The Litani River might be a natural defense line border. Israel will then expel 1.6 million Shia from Lebanon. Christians from Syria and Iraq along with Christian refugees in Jordan and Turkey will be invited to populate southern Lebanon from Beirut to the Litani River. In Sunni Muslims want to resettle in vacated Shia areas in the northern Bekkah Valley, Israel will help coordinate the move. Druze and Zoroastrians could also be invited to populate southern Lebanon and Beirut. Israel and Lebanon will then sign a peace and defense pact.

I love Israel, I pray for them, defend them, financially support them. My heart breaks and is filled with sorrow for all the emotional and spiritual suffering. HAMAS, has brought sorrow and suffering on their own people, how heartless. The Iranian leaders are anxious they are next. Israel knows where they are. Now that Trump is president this will happen. The Persian people will be set free, the Palestinians will be set free. I pray in these last days as Joel 2 comes to pass, the pouring out of the Holy Spirit the Muslims will come to know the true God of Israel and join you in praising Him.🕎📖✝️🔥🕊️🦋🙌🏻🙏🏼❤️

NOT BY POWER OR MIGHT BUT BY THE SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD. THE GOD OF ISRAEL. NOT GOVERMENT OR POLICIES, OR MILITARY! ALL GLORY GOES TO GOD NOT PARTIAL BUT ALL. THE LORD KNOWS BEGGINING AND THE END. IT IS A HUGE MISTAKE TO ATTACK THE PEOPLE OF GOD

-Colonial European state is how early Zionists saw the establishment of Israel - Vladimir Jabotinsky - "Colonialism is an adventure" 'Hertzl realized that only by leaving German soil and founding a Jewish state would he ever be truly German' "I am a German speaking Jew from Hungary and never can be anything but a German" Hertzl (Daniel Boyarin). Further confessed in his diary - Hertzl - "Through Zionism it will again become possible for Jews to love this Germany, to which our hearts have been attached despite everything" Hertzl envisaged Israel as a "bulwark to protect Europe from Asia, as an outpost of civilization (European) against barbarism (Asia) and retain a connection with all of Europe" Hertzl - Bulwark against Asia: Zionist Exclusivism and Palestinian Responses - Nora Scholtes

What a fantastic appointment. Mazel, Bibi. And congratulations, MrAmbassador.
Your story of making Aliyah is an inspiration. The story of Moshe, of Blessed Memory: his service, the Delta "brawn/brains" line 😂, and his being taken from us whilst running point into Gaza has lifted our spirits.
400 days today, gentlemen. Am Y'Israel C'hai. Much love, ~R

I did not know that Blinken was the architect behind Clinton’s policy, a plague upon Israel then and now. I agree. A new policy is needed.

We in d North Eastern part of India, in d State of Manipur were suddenly attacked by d majority Meitei radicals on d night of d 3rd,,May, 2023.We were unaware of what was really happening to us, as hundreds of my people were killed, thousands of houses burnt down n destroyed, hundreds of churches n Jewish Synagogues were burnt to ashes, followed by women being paraded necked in broad daylight, raped n killed, children burnt alive to death n there was no help whatsoever from d govt.Sixty thousand of us r displaced. All kinds of derogatory narratives r fabricated day in n day out against us. While I was deeply thinking about moving to Israel n longing to leave for Israel, Israel again was heinously attacked on d 7th Oct, 2023.The crime committed against us here in India n vowed openly to annihilate us where d same crime was seen again in Israel on d 7th Oct, d same year which got me into thinking so deeply dt I started praying every single day for Donald Trump dt unless he got elected Iran would b more n more emboldened to destroy Israel n d whole world would b in chaotic confusion n destruction..... Gid Almighty, Hashem b with Donald Trump n d Israeli Ambassadot to America for we still have hope dt one day we would also see light n peace n rest... Long live America. Long live Israel....

To give Europeans an idea of the size of Israel, it's about the size of Wales, UK, which itself would fit into England 7 times.
Obviously, England is only a part of the UK.
