I remember spending hours doing the grass cutting method when I was a kid. Good times.
Toga McGurga I spent an entire freaking summer just cutting grass and digging holes. Lol I finally found bow wow and enter the second dungeon to finish the game. Good times.

The length of time the shopkeeper shocks you with force lightning for thievery is a bit overkill, haha! I'm still saving up for the bow and arrow, so these tips might come in handy.
Grass Cutting was the way of the early 90s, but I did the Rapids Race for 3 of the stones as I hoarded cash all game for the first 2. Great thorough video sir.
Now if I could only get some real-life rupees to buy this game with...

Nice and helpful video.
You can make a custom dungeon that has a lot of rooms that don't have locked doors or treasure chests. That way, you can complete the dungeon by only going through four rooms (entryway, room with key, big open room for rupee rain, and boss). If you make the dungeon large enough (with rooms you don't have to go into), you can get about 290-300 rupees per playthrough, and it takes about 45-50 seconds to play through the dungeon, with no buy-in and minimal dialogue to go through to replay. I think that produces the most profit per minute.
I touched base with the Dampe method, but Rapid River Race will always be best. 👍

I always put the boss right by the entrance when possible because you can always play the ocarina and warp to the entrance and be to the boss.
Doing the fishing game a lot once the Ol' Baron shows up is really easy too

Not played this yet and I've never played Links Awakening on the Game boy, so all hints and tips are welcome. 👍 🤗
I was on the fence all week about buying this game. It’s the first Zelda game I ever played on the OG game boy. I never beat the game, being 6 when I got it so the ending of the game has been a huge mystery for about 30 years 😂 I finally decided right before GameStop was going to close to jump in the car and get it. First thing I did was go to your page and have been farming rupees and watching your (extremely helpful) walkthrough. I knew you wouldn’t disappoint. Also looked at the Nintendo switch lite when I was there, would be perfect to take on the plane with me as my switch battery doesn’t last long at all.
That is super Helpful to collect rupees!

You forgot one, the crane game
grab a purple rupee followed by a red rupee, leave the shop, go back in, reapeat.
Too long and not worth mentioning
adventuring in my own dungeons is the most fun farming method for me.
Correction. You can actually access the Rapids as soon as you get the Flippers, although you of course won't be able to maximize your gains without the Hookshot, so it's best to wait til you get it to do the Rapids. It's gotten in the very next dungeon after the one that has the Flippers after all, so you won't have to wait very long.

It is a shame that Dampe's gold challenges don't yield 300 rupees after the first completion.
I managed to set up Zig-Zaggy in such a way that I can go straight up the right side to the boss and complete in about 40 seconds. Would have been great for farming.
When I made a 16 room dungeon I started getting purple rupees very consistently, so it's definitely tied to the number of rooms in a dungeon and there's a good chance your final boss has an influence too.
You're not completely bored out of your mind with Dungeon Maker?
@@AbdallahSmash It's kind of interesting to speedrun a long dungeon, but it definitely turns sour after a bit. Luckily the farm for the 7 shop slabs is minutes rather than hours with the dungeon method.
For those wondering he’s not great at the river raid, you can get another hundred ruppees or so if you take the right paths.
My favorite is dungeon making. 😄 I did that to get all the 14 chambers

I almost finished the DX version on my 3DS.
Got to the last dungeon.
Got all Heart Pieces and all the secret seashells.
But my 3DS is broken now.

I combined the first two. Every time I get the red and purple rupees in the crane game, I cut the big field of grass, rinse and repeat.

My Bestway is the chamber dungeon I did two tests Dark Link any long or short dungeon give really good drops
I don't think it beats Rapid River Race 200 per 30 seconds though.
In the original, I always had max rupees by the end of the game anyway. in the oracle games, you could just shovel forever and get rupees that way, but it's not the same for this game XD
Let me guess, one of the ways is making a chamber with a bunch of extra chests and the rupee room with the rupee effect from the color dungeon.
It was a tradition for all my playthroughs to be called THIEF.
