I have tripled my turnover since I left Xpress and all its issues with plugin incompatibilities, updates, and severe crashes. Hundreds of hours saved per year.
Hi, great video. I see you gave the "client" access to an entire server, albeit with just one application on it. But what if you have multiple applications/WP sites on a server. Is there a way to give them access to their website alone? Also, being able to let a client manage their own email would be amazing. I don't like having access to their password and inbox etc. Do you know a way around this? Many thanks!
Hi @oisinfunk, yes you can provide limited access to a server as well, where you can choose exactly what the client can do and what applications they can access. As for email, if you're using the Rackspace add-on, users can set their own password. Check out this video for more on Cloudways Email: th-cam.com/video/UQF6hTSnQWE/w-d-xo.html
@@dave-swift Thanks for the response, much appreciated. OK, giving users access to their application only would be pretty cool. The video you shared is to a video comparing SMTPing to ClearOut, also a great vid - just watched it. If you have a video covering Rackspace access etc please share it. I can't find it your library. Keep up the great work, I've just subscribed.
@@dave-swift Cheers, I actually watched that too. You don't really cover how users can access and change their password autonomously. I still requires me to get in there and change their password or issue them a new one personally. I don't like having access to my client's email details. However, maybe I could send them the webmail link for their Rackspace inbox and ask them to hit the forgot password and then change it that way? That way I'm not part of the process.
Dave you’ve been killing it! You’ve been on a roll but I’d like to challenge you to help build an Agency outside of the big boys? I be feeling trapped Agency building with them… But all in all, nice walkthroughs
Thanks 👍 it's good for Reselling Wordpress hosting
You're welcome. Thanks for watching.

The user can change their own password inside of Rackspace. It's not a big deal. docs.rackspace.com/docs/change-rackspace-email-mailbox-password

Thanks CX3. What you do mean? What type of agency do you want to build and what platforms are you interested in?
