- Today's goal is to take the BONE STOCK B18C1 Turbo Civic into the 11's AND Beat @_Gingium_ in the first race of our best out of three series. The Civic was off to a very rough start, but after getting it dialed in and remote tuning with my tuner Mikey Spec, the car was hooking up and launching like and absolute rocket! This video is one for the books boys. Huge thank you to everyone that helped make this possible. @@AdinSLaboy he means the engine internals. He just did a turbo swap with all supporting mods to get 450hp but the block isn’t built, it’s completely stock. You must be new here lol

The wheel hop on the last pass- slicks heat soak and gain pressure really fast. Check pressure before and after and try to target a good pressure with heat soak.

Congrats on the new PB. I said, in the last video that you were gonna be at low 11 to high 10. The only thing that’s going to keep you from hitting the 10 right now is going to be your rev limiter. You can shift into fifth to gain a little extra mile per hour but I don’t recommend staying in it for too long. Good Luck!

Isn't he on e85? Pump gas target is 14.7 idle/cruise and 11.5-11.7 in wot... Looks like he running 12 idle and 10s wot.

@@TunerThings same target just takes 30% more to get there? I wasn't sure as I've never used ethanol or any type of alcohol other then methanol injection on top of 93.
@@TunerThings the stoich value for gas is 14.7, and for E85 is 9.76, we find that at a lambda of . 8, the AFR of gasoline will be 11.76 and E85 will be 7.8.
So clearly it isn't the same

Same problem happens with my s300 ecu I had to shut it off in the lanes and couldn't do a burn out because it acted the same way but after the launch it started working. Next time if they tell you to shut it off tell them they have to wait a min before your ready.

Afr looks way better in the last runs. Raise the limiter just a bit and the raise the boost cut and she will go 10s Forsure. Short track is getting there and trap speed is there to do a 10. Just have to drive it now man. Good luck

you have some type of cold rev limit set or boost set. check in your hondata. dont allow rpm over xx or boost over xx until ect at x amount ect and its running crazy rich ! im sure you know. good luck keep it up. also dont switch to 5th gear it will mess you up. just turn your rev limit up in 4th gear only by 200rpm or something. it will be fine

you should run kendell w50 since ur a turbo car it keeps everything super lubercated and it has tons of zinc in it i run in it my 600 hp poor mans type r turbo eg sedan... and its amazing oil saves parts

How high are you turning the car? Would be ideal to add a few hundred to the limiter to eliminate that 5th gear shift. Great progress!
O2 preheater? Sometimes I try to start and just go before the wideband warms up all the way it hesitates for a second. Tho shouldn't limit rpm.

I'd set the limiter higher and not Shift into 5th but ask your tuner he knows best what your car is capable of doing

3350lbs. Also his trans kept locking him out of gears. 3rd and 4th were nearly impossible for him to get into clean.
