  • This project shows you how to DIY online monitoring for AC Energy or Power Meter use Blynk App, NodeMCU and PZEM-016 AC Energy Meter. The system just send data from the commercial Energy Meter to the Blynk Server which has a web interface for online monitoring through its app. It is very suitable for recording Solar PV System or household energy or power consumption. Need to clarify few things. Currently my battery capacity is around 200A how do I do the changes according to my battery capacity additionally my solar power is around 300V any plugins available to handle both. Thanks

    I cant get the code to compile. I get an error "no matching function for call to 'SoftwareSerial::SoftwareSerial()'
    The similar code from Everet Dekker will compile but not this version for use with Blynk. Any thoughts?

    what different PZEM-016 vs pzem 004t?

    • @youssefodeh9486
      @youssefodeh9486 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just knew what is the difference, in PZEM 004t you don't need to buy the communication converter module. you can directly connect PZEM 004t to Arduino. I hope that helps.

      @@gerardaldwinpatoc9368 Thanks for the response. I did get the program to compile, I tried
      so many things and i'm not even sure what did it. I got closer to it working but i'm still not there. It connects to the Blynk app but i'm not getting any data. It could be the pin connections, i'm not sure. I got a PZEM004
      and use a different program and I have the same problem, I connect but no data. When I connect either
      unit direct to computer or wifi to computer I get data.

I followed all the instructions from the link fortunately the code get compiled ad uploaded to nodeMCU but i get zero data. I noticed in the video that the pins are connected to D5 all the way down. not on the D0 to D3. I already messaged @solarduino on his gmail but no response. hope he will response to this

    How to save data from this?

    • @solarduino1374
      @solarduino1374  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Blynk app by default already save your data on the cloud. But if you want to get the data locally you can involve Blynk local server (kindly check at Blynk website as I have not tested it before) or adding datalogger module (with some coding) to manually save your record locally.
