okay so i have studied the Vertebral column anatomy many times.. and yes i always used to understand.. but used to forget some parts.. but this time you have literally helped to store this important info permanently in my head.. like we do copy paste in computers.. love your teachings.. wish you were my anatomy teacher in my most needed 1st year.. :)
Hello Dr.Sam, You are awesome and you don't how many people I am gonna recommend this channel. I go to a community college, for massage therapy and I wish my lab have those kinda models. Really helps to imagine the human body in detail. You are awesome in bringing life to those models. Thank you and please keep up the good work.
You rock! Thanks for the video. I make videos myself in another channel and I know how much work it is to make a good quality video! It's just a bit difficult to understand why you won't have as many subscribers as you deserve (!). Image is good, sound is good and you are also funny (and the content is of course also very good). What more do people want? :) Cheers and good luck with your channel!
Thank you for making these. they are interesting, easy to watch, and organized! you are for sure helping me in my current anatomy class and i plan on watching more of your videos as the class progresses! you may have said it in another video but where are you located?
5:00 Such a relief to hear you say "processes" and not "processeeze." So at these Anatomical Society conferences, do they pronounce skeletal "scleatle?"
Bloody brilliant. No wonder it didn’t make any sense previously. There’s a need to see and label and see how it all works. Brilliant. So the front of the spine is where the main bulk of the vertebrae are? And the back the spinious process, the more spindly part?
The C1 spinal nerve leaves the vertebral column superior to the C1 vertebra. The C8 spinal nerve leaves the vertebral column inferior to the C7 vertebra. So there are 8 cervical spinal nerves but 7 vertebrae. The T1 nerve leaves inferior to the T1 vertebra, and so on.
Yes. Erector spinal muscles: th-cam.com/video/ng5ToMRptT0/w-d-xo.html and deep, deep muscles of the back: th-cam.com/video/g__AldOA-Ik/w-d-xo.html Cheers!
Literally a living legend Sam!! If you have a nominated charity I would like to donate some money on return for all of these videos you do which are so helpful.
You've made anatomy so much easier to study for me thanks a lot

You are great sir ❤❤❤
I love these videos. I just have to apply the bones to a dog anatomy
there are 7 cervical vertebra, but when we talk about the brachial plexus, why do we mention a C8?
The C1 spinal nerve leaves the vertebral column superior to the C1 vertebra. The C8 spinal nerve leaves the vertebral column inferior to the C7 vertebra. So there are 8 cervical spinal nerves but 7 vertebrae. The T1 nerve leaves inferior to the T1 vertebra, and so on.
I get it now. Thank you
suffered painful facet syndrome from some stupid yoga exercises. suddenly i'm so interested in spine anatomy. excellent video.
Is there a follow up video (mentioned at 1:02)? I am studying this now!!! Just found your neuro podcast too!! Turning into your biggest fan!!

That's very kind. Feel free to pass along the goodwill in whichever way you want (e.g. pick a charity that is important to you). Cheers.

What is the name of that small opening in the vertebra body.
