Dreamcatcher's Japanese releases hit differently. It's like a preview of how hard their music can be since this type of rock is not popular in South Korea, while in Japan hardcore groups like Babymetal and BandMaid are thriving. Yes, their Korean songs still incorporate rock elements but more akin to fusion of kpop and rock, plus other music styles; edm, trap, jrock, reggaeton, etc. However, their Korean MVs are much more elaborate with crazy visuals, vfx, set & lighting, gorgeous outfit & styling, choreography, and storyline to go with the song.
For Storied MV's, maybe show them Dreamcatcher's stand-alone MV's "Rose Blue" (collab with Girl Cafe Gun video game) and/or "Deja Vu" (collab with King's Raid video game)?
