    Her and I have the same Bithday she us 4 years older then me I remember wachung this live with my parents when I was 14. I always think of her on our Bithday

    I was 10 when she won us gold, I watched it and it change my perception on what was it to actually put effort, can never be the same after seeing her step up to the challenge with a broken ankle. She is an American icon.

    About 1997, I met Kerri at LAX airport and she autographed my Michael Crichton book which became a Steven Spielberg film, "Jurassic Park".

    It seems like she doesn't dare to talk about her real feelings about it.
    It was child abuse. They "forced" her to do this second jump injured. Because gold was worth more then a life. If she wouldn't have done it, she probably wouldn't have to stop the sport and she wouldn'T have to be in such pain.
