But the people can’t work without the music. Even if they can hear it😂 Watch Black Beard Projects. He’s a guy that can make perfect knives and swords, axes etc.
It looks simple in videos. I have personal experience of working in a forging unit. In winter, it's ok.But in summer, Temperature of shed easily crosses 45 degree Celsius, life of workers (in front of furnaces and presses becomes extremely difficult. I remember a guy who used to work in front of main furnace, excessive perspiration used to drench his clothes. Another guy used to put semi-finished itmes into heat treatment furnace, his whole day job involved extra exposure to heat. Their wages were little higher than normal but they could give vent to their feelings in an extremely charged atmosphere, even owner would avoid chatting with them. One of the reasons why sub continent workers couldn't bring improvements in these processes is exposure to excessive heat.Loss of cognitive ability under a very long summer won't allow any other thinking to override the instinct of job completion.
A lot of knowledge contained in this presentation . Have worked with metal all my life and these individuals make it look so simple. Really enjoyed tis, Thank You.
I love all these videos! I want one of each blade. Please show more of the workers' faces. Let's see more of the men at work. Arriving, talking, each step, portraits with knives. 101722
That one guy is just amazing with the power hammer! It’s easily doing 2-3 hits per second and he’s flipping it side to side between hits and moving incredible amounts of metal in a hurry!
First day on the job; “So, once it’s freshly painted, where do I place it to dry?” “In the dirt of course, right next to the other stuff with the nice, finished surfaces.”
When I read, 'FORGING' videos, I though this would teach me how to 'forge' excellent imitation $100 bills, so I was rather disappointed. Seriously, they all work fantastic as teams, and it's a very entertaining watch.
It’s sad to see these “good men” ruining their bodies and health. This environment is taking a toll on their eyesight, hearing, and lungs. Accidents must be plentiful. In poor countries there’s always someone willing to take their place. These kind of sweat shops should not be glorified.
That’s an awfully wasteful, tedious and expensive way of turning sheet metal into crummy forged steel. Korea or China can probably do the same job at a tenth the cost and risk.
Twisted Damascus its an awesome pattern when done right. Using heavy cable gives another really nice pattern its just really really hard to do cause u almost have to disassemble the cable to get all the grease out our u wont get a good forge weld. Saw one smith soak it for a week in acetone & multiple rinseings & still had some cold shunts in it.
I'm so curious. Is that another example of the talent making pennies and the owners of the shop making the dollar? Is working in a shop like that enough to raise a family on, live your life, learn all the parts of that shop, pass it down to your family? Are all of them related, or is that just a job in a shop.
Freeking amazing people right here. To bad here in the states. You have to have 10 safety sallies, meetings , and presentations as to how not to get hurt. This stuff is dangerous, and these men are kicking ass and taking names.
How do you control the forging temperature the weight of each hammer strike and what final non destructive tests are applies to your products.? This just appears to be yet another video convincing me never to source alleged quality forgings from India. The U shaped sections look like cut sections of old ships anchor chains and as such may be totally unsuitable mechanically for the purposes which they will now be used
We (as I myself) enjoy looking at the fabrication that has for the most gone in this country. With all the rules and safety laws they would have had a heart attack to see how they operate. But then on the other hand all the pollution that is created burning crude oil like that
@@ytrade469 If the shop would be in Pakistan or India you would see developement workers. But there were none - it's clearly filmed in England or maybe in Marseille, France.
@@ytrade469 Yeah, I was gonna say "definitely somewhere OSHA doesn't exist"..."wait, is that dude wearing shorts and sandals in a forge!?!... yeah, that's not a developed nation"

You can just imagine the forges working day and night in the two great wars to get as much production done as possible.
Наверное они долго не живут
it would be so much better without the stupid music
Great music and one of the best videos I’ve seen in a while. I’ve got so much respect for blacksmiths. Great respect 25:09 🇦🇺👍
OSHA does not seem to be anywhere in sight! Just good men who know what they are doing and work together perfectly!
music never really helps.
Very impressive manual forging skills.
17 век какой то.
Just why can't any of these shops clean anything? It would drive me crazy to work in dust and dirt like that.

The video is sped up.

Just another day in Bombay, the rest of us are so lucky we were just born somewhere else. This is..Made in India, at your local hardware store.
Better with no music. The music is horrible. Can’t watch it.
This is really awesome. I wish they would protect their hearing and eyes.
when tshtf these guys will still be producing stuff. Sometimes simpler is better. Respect.

Классный нож , я таким салат режу очень удобно, и характер искры при обточке показывают качество стали. Великолепно👌👍
I don't mean to complain.. I love the video ...minus the music
have the music change... to much repeating.. use multiple songs or no music at all
Contents are good. Music is mind numbing terrible!!
Почему кран не можете сменить? Протекает же
This is why you don’t buy Damascus
why do you put music on the videos ? I do like the true noises of metal work.
Ironically, the only way to protect your eyes is too be blind enough to need glasses to see.
Horrible horrible horrible music.
Background music spoils your video!
Good to see their wearing safety fireproof flip flops, 🤔
Excelentes produtos artesanais feitos pra durar muito tempo, aqui tudo industrializados e com pouca duração.
Scheiss Musik!
These fellows are very skillful with the power hammer.
If ya can't fix it with a hammer, it ain't worth fixing
The music is really really irritating.
Where they found so many rails?
Good video but better without the music.
Diu que engancha mas que un gancho diu la falopa de la paca ajau
get rid of that horrible music
Making something out of scrap and very quickly. Truly amazing skills. My hat off to these hard working people. Great video.

16:15 - I thought he was going to cut out the template drawing.
Fixing the vice on the floor and you'll never need a workbench on which things can fall down on your toes and chop them off.
No safety glasses, and no steel toed boots, must be at the top of there game 😮
Wow those meat cleavers were accually made out of the correct steel, i guess there's a first time for everything

Yes the Punascus blade, not as dear as the common Damascus but made in one tenth the time.
Good men earning an honest living and providing for their families. Good job.
Parabéns pelo trabalho desses caras
no music, please
I agree.
Turn off the sound dummy...
Great work, what city/town is this metal factory. NICE
Bradford, UK.
It looks like some in Pakistan or India, the workers don’t have any safety wear which should be supplied by the factory owners.
