The original Captain America was a test. There were several other people that got the Super Soldier Serum. A big, tough guy that got the Serum was called Protocide. The concept is that an already big, tough guy will utilize force far more quickly than someone who was constantly on the receiving end of being treated as the "little guy". If you start with a guy who's already used to solving problems with violence, then make him into a super soldier; you are far more likely to create...more people like the Red Skull.

The original Captain America was a test. There were several other people that got the Super Soldier Serum.
A big, tough guy that got the Serum was called Protocide. The concept is that an already big, tough guy will utilize force far more quickly than someone who was constantly on the receiving end of being treated as the "little guy".
If you start with a guy who's already used to solving problems with violence, then make him into a super soldier; you are far more likely to create...more people like the Red Skull.
