- In this video we compare two All-Star vocalists in one band at different times: Lou Gramm and Kelly Hansen, fronting FOREIGNER! Who Did it Better?
Replacement Singers: FOREIGNER - Lou Gramm - Kelly Hansen - Who Did It Better?
Not only is Lou Gramm one of the greatest rock vocalists of all-time but he also happens to be one of my greatest vocal influences.
I’m going to do my very best to be unbiased as I compare him alongside Kelly Hansen but I need your help. Who do you think did it better and why? Share with me in the comments!
Lou did so many things great from his range, to his tone, to his songwriting but I’m also going to try to take an honest look at what he wasn’t the best at.
I’ll be pairing up Kelly Hansen alongside him and we’ll see how they compared as we look at Kelly’s more throaty, girthy sound and what his presence was like on stage.

No one could ever replace Lou.... His voice made the band...
mick screwed him .... try to take royalties away from him .... try to give him 5% on i wanna know what love is
Totally agree… Lou was and still awesome!!!
Exactly 💯💯
Agree
@@marcusevangeliste7426I like Lou
OMG! There is no comparison. There would have been no Foreigner without Lou Gramm. He stands alone!
Strongly dis agree, I saw them both live, Lou Graham Live was not good either time I saw him, I will say if he sounded like this when I saw them I would of loved it but he talked to many vocals (Jaggered) live also the Original band played way to fast. In 1983 Foreigner I saw Foreigner at Day on the Green in Oakland they were advertised as a 3 Piece band --They were not, they had so many extras off the stage it looked like a Professional play
Kelly never cheats the song live. I do know Lou had health Issues and that matters and as for Lou writing the Original melody for Vocals -----He was Great and his vocals in the studio was great.
Agreed. Love Lou, but Kelly is a beast. Sounds exactly as he did in his early twenties. He also respects Foreigner and is not disrespecting Lou.
Lou has that screamy rasp that just set Foreigner apart. No contest!
Lou does have the better tone IMO , Kelly isn’t bad but it’s just not the OG Foreigner we all know and love. Lou did a band called Shadow King after Foreigner and they were absolutely great.
Kelly is a very good singer. But Lue's voice will always be a Foreigner trademark. I would go so far as to say that I doubt they would have made it as big, without his genuin vocal expression. It has this heartbreaking sound, It goes straight to your heart. It's like imagining Led Zeppelin with a singer other than Robert Plant. Or Queen ( Adam Lambert is a very good singer, but it can never be "Queen" without Freddie Mercury). Makes no sense. I remember Lue Gramm from my introduction to Foreigner around 1980. He appeared as the epitome of a live rock singer. He was pricelessly brilliant.
Lou Gramm is just on a whole other level… Sings from the heart.
Lou Gramm is no longer Lou Gramm. In 2023, Kelly DESTROYS him. In his prime, though, I would of course take Lou.
@@musicismyfriend7919Have you listened to Lou in 2023? He sounds better than Kelly. Kelly sings through his nose and swallows the words, Lou's tone on the other hand is still great.
Absolutely
@@musicismyfriend7919Lou cannot be destroyed he’s special full of love can feel him in his music love Lou
@@simonajugarih3620agree I like Lou
Omg Lou's voice is just more powerful he sings from the heart. I can feel his voice in my soul. Lou is the real foreigner hands down
Lou Gramm has no contest, the feeling he puts on his singing is irreplaceable.
Lou conveys such emotions. I have seen many of his interviews, he thinks Mick Jones told Kelly Hansen to copy his moves and his ad libs on stage . he said that" Mick should have let Kelly sing the songs his own way don't hang your coat on my hook what Lou said"
Absolutely
I’ll not listen to foreigners if Lou is not there he’s what made them great
Lou hands down IS AND ALWAYS will be the voice of FOREIGNER..❤️❤️
Lou Gramm absolutely no contest....silly
The same but I choose Lou Gramm ❤️😊👍👍
The one and ONLY LOU ! I seen then 4 times in concert what a privilege . He can never be replaced.
No contest.LOU GRAMM. One of the greatest voices ever
Lou Gramm his voice is one who will never be replaced by anyone!!! Not anyone Lou you made foreigner with you beautiful smooth voice!!
Lou gramm is the best singer of foreigner,no one could compared to him
Oh my .. no comparison! Lou Gramm IS and always will be Foreigner!! I Want To Know What Love Is was Lou Gramm!! Totally Lou!
Lou is the voice of a generation. And a gentleman to boot. Rare combination.
Lou Gramm's voice is on a level of its own, and can never be replaced. The other guy was told to 'copy' Lou's sound as best he could. Lou Gramm copied no one.
Well that's the difference when you're the Original Lead Singer. Just like the lil Chinese guy told to sound like Steve Perry...yeah NOT!!!!
@@randybelvin9950 exactly
There is no one who can sing like Lou Gramm other than Lou Gramm
Lou Gramms role model vocally was between Paul Rogers, Aretha Franklin and Marvin Gaye. He always acknowledged how they influenced his spirit as a singer and it definitely showed. No one can copy him because of that fact.
Lou will always be the voice of foreigner until the end of time.
Hands down Lou Gramm! He's one of the most talented singers I've ever heard.
Lou.of course❤
I love Lou's voice. I wish he could still sing like back then. That makes me sad but I'm glad at the same time that the illness didn't stop him.i love his testimony and I'm thankful he's a Christian
I grew up as a teen in the '70s with Foreigner, Lou Gramm is one of my hero lead singers, Foreigner is not Foreigner without Lou. Just like Styx without Deyoung, Yes without Anderson, Journey without Perry, or Boston without Brad is not the same. Definitely Gramm all the way.
Lou always
I agree with all of the examples you gave.
Defo Lou Gramm without doubt 💯%
Very well said. It's kind of amazing how the bands have become bigger than the people in them.
Lou forever!! 🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️☺️
Lou lives near me, it’s crazy how he almost died, he was about to die and he found a doctor who did a surgery at last minute who saved his life, it was crazy. He goes to local car shows with his classic cars. Nice guy to talk to.
Hey Charlie, a rochester guy? Lou represents us well!!
Lou Gramm is the best. He puts all his passion in each song. No one can replace him.
No one could ever replace Lou Gramm
Lou is and always will be the best out of the two , he had the grit in his voice ! . His voice in the studio , unbelievable!
This is A NO BRAINER!!!! LOU GRAMM!!!!! He has a distinctive high pitched powerful voice able to sing many ranges!!! Not to mention his unique stage presence!!👍👍👍
Hoping whose Left in The original lineup does a farewell tour After the current one. Maybe bc a small venues
Loved his calm stage presence..just stood there with one leg slanted a tad. Dude had swag before swag was a thing
Lou Gramm is absolutely TOPS!🎼🎤🎶🎶🎶🎶
Lou is and was a poetic musical genius composer worldwide sensation brilliant man and way ahead of his time on planet earth and IN HIS OWN DIMENSION
Lou's voice was just pure brilliance.
Lou is and always will be the front man of foreigner
Lou II.sthe Best VOICE FROM FOREIGNER
First video of yours that I've seen (I'm actually just about halfway through). I want to give you props for your incredibly warm presentation style. Audience rapport in spades. Excellent expository with zero edits or notes! A tip of the cap, sir.
Lou is the greatest on these songs. I seen Kelly in concert and nothing like Great Lou.
Lou it’s just incomparable.. he was in his prime time the Best Rock Vocalist EVER
I’d go so far as to say one of the best vocalists of all time in ANY genre
@@stephenobrien1505What about Chris Cornell? He was absolutely phenomenal. He may be the best rock vocalist ever. 😊
Without the original singer and almost the entire band, it feels more like a cover band than Foreigner.
It is a coverband! Doesn't anyone see that? Just a bunch of guys singing Foreigner songs to make a living.
No, it’s not at all the same. With Mick Jones there to coach and teach them, it’s nothing like a cover band.
@@cherwynambuter7873 Mick is the only original and he's semi retired. Cover band!
I don't be it is fair to discount foreigner as a band, Mick Jones is still there. Lou was probably the biggest piece of the puzzle tho,
Lou is one in a million. Fantastic singing voice.
One in a billion,...
Ken, your review is spot on. Kelly Hansen is fronting a cover band. Lou Gramm blows Hansen away every time! I met Lou Gramm in Laughlin, NV after a show a few years ago. You wanna know what I told him? I said, "Without Lou Gramm there is no Foreigner. Period!" BTW Mick Jones gave Lou a real screwing on the writing credits for "I Wanna Know What Love Is," and, unquestionably, many others. It would also be interesting to hear your comments regarding Lou's solo recordings. Thanks.
Lou puts his heart into the song.
Agreed, I LOVE watching him sing, SO much emotion. I could watch him all day beautiful being, beautiful voice, beautiful soul. God bless that man... Lou is legend.
Lou was that band period
Lou Gramm is Foreigner. I’m so fortunate to have seen him perform live at the zenith of his career. Gifted vocalist. Much love for Lou. ❤️
@@joannenugent8495 I saw Iron Maiden , Ted Nugent , loverboy, and Foreigner at Rich Stadium 1983 .incredible. I just wouldn't go to Foreigner unless Lou was there
Saw them in the Agent P. Tour. Excellent! Only Lou Gramm!❤
Lou Gramm all the way! I am seeing Lou this weekend in his hometown, Rochester, NY. 🎉❤
Yes I agree Lou Gram was one of kind...he and his exceptional singing made Foreigner...his voice will always be remembered as one of the great vocal sounds that again made Foreigner...
Lou is the champ, not many can stand in his shadow.
I agree. Lou is the Shadow King.
All the rest stand IN Lou's shadow. One of rock vocals GOATs, hands down.
@@michaelblakley1014😊❤🎉
Lou Gramm 100%. He wasn't a "showman" but he delivered the most incredible bluesy vocals. He stands in a class of his own, really. Oh! And he doesn't have a rock star attitude at all, and I believe that added to his appeal with the fans. Lou also wrote a lot of the songs I believe? Lou Gramm, whether he's active/singing/alive or with the Lord, will ALWAYS be the voice/songwriter/performer that put Foreigner on the musical map. The other guy seems like he'd probably be a better replacement for Steve Tyler, just sayin'.
👍
Not that I would want to see Steven Tyler replace but that is a pretty good description
I listened to an interview from one of the producers/ engineers from foreigner 4 and he said he was almost 100% sure Lou sang "I want to know what love is" from start to finish in one take, after a run through or 2 and they kept that whole take... said his pitch was unreal good
Lou mostly wrote the words to the songs and Jones wrote the music on the songs they shared credit on .
Lou was the Voice!! No contest!!
Kelly doesn’t have a bad voice; it’s just not the VOICE of Foreigner. Lou IS and always will be that voice. What we hear now is simply a decent cover band.
Lou was always the best. Still today Lou,with all he has been through still rocks the house. We love Lou❤
Lou Hands Down !!!! Cannot replace Him!!
100% agree . The same with Journey and Perry . These guys cannot be replaced .. the others are just tribute singers living off of the original vocalist . Sammy Hagar was one of the only few who you could say replaced ! a singer . As he wasn't a copy and brought something new to the band .
If Lou didn't sing that song. It would never went #1. I agree 💯💯💯💯♥💜❤
I think Lou is the best vocal ever. His multi dimensional voice was actually embodying many of the rock vocalists voice and a natural surrounding on top of these actually.
There's only one Lou. My man. Thank you for making my youth so memorable.
Saw Foreigner on their Foreigner 4 Tour with Billy Squier opening. Best concert I have been to. Lou's voice in his prime was just amazing. Lou is my vote.
I'm a day-one Foreigner diehard and I saw them during the 4 tour when Billy opened for them at the Spectrum in Philly...the last night of three sold-out shows.
I saw them at the Hampton Coliseum in Virginia. Must have been around 1984. They have always been my favorite band at least when Lou was with them. They are really just a cover band without him.
I saw them 3 times on their "4" tour in 1982. I had a brand new 1982 Mustang GT, And my future wife by my side for each event. It's still the greatest year of my rather lengthy existence. I remember those concerts like they were yesterday.
Lou Gramm was a phenomenal live singer- not great- PHENONMENAL!
Lou Graham hands down ! That's a crazy question 😳
Lou's vocal quality is irreplaceable
Are you kidding me.Its always the original. THAT WOULD BE LOU.Flat out rock and roll.
I saw Lou Gramm with Foreigner after he had his first brain surgery. The guy was unbelievable. He blew all of us away with his voice. Unfortunately he had additional brain surgeries and his cancer got worse. Always the nicest guy you'd ever want to meet and super talented. God did indeed bless Lou Gramm...!
Only 1 surgery. Benign tumor removed - he was born with it. Lou Gramm has not had cancer. Listen to some interviews- read his book, Jukebox Hero, excellent!
Michelle u are correct!
What Mick Jones did to him was very low, not giving him any credit for helping write the song, "I want to know what love is". Dick move... Ruined the band too.
Mr.Gramm we all appreciate what you have given us fans musically, vocally over the decades Thank you Sir!!
I saw Lou, with Foreigner before his brain tumor, in 1995 or 96, in Rockford, IL with Fleetwood Mac opening. Hearing Lous voice live, is like hearing Steve Perry live. IRREPLACABLE!
I was blessed to see Foreigner during their tour in the 80’s.i was in high school at the time. I will never forget what an awesome show. Lou Gramms voice was incredible. His high octave can never be replaced. I would never see Foreigner play again. I feel as it would be disrespectful to Lou Gramms hard work and his voice he so humbly gave. IMO, Mick was a great songwriter. However, he was a textbook narcissist. GOD hates Greed and Pride. Folks, it’s ironic when you lose one of the best singers ever over a a Gospel hit. 😢
I was a huge Foreigner fan growing up in Miami, where by the way that performance your playing here was filmed remember seeing Lou wearing that Miami Dolphins shirt, saw them 5 different times 79' first time Double Vision Tour, then over the years till the last tour I saw them was 1984 and Lou always brought it never noticed any weak performances from him, solid vocals and always amazing in live performances. One of my favorite singers of all time. Thak you for highlighting this so well and giving Lou his rightful recognition.
Of course Lou gramm is much better. His powerful voice. No one can beat him. Even Kelly can not replace Lou gramm. I love Lou gramm when he is young. His cury hair and the way he act is very attractive. I love the way he sings.
Lou's Farm Aid shows his breathing and singing style on "I wanna know what love is." Wow!
I loved the younger Lou Gramms teeth, eyes, hair, body & last but not least, the way he always sang. Also, 1978, my favorite band was Foreigner ,& has been my favorite band of all time. My second favorite band of my life has been Journey! I haven't decided my #3 favorite band yet!
The raw emotion and power of Lou Gramm's voice is untouchable. Others may be able to sing the same notes, but just notes does not make a singer.
Lou at his prima was one of the best singers ever. Unfortunately he's not able to perform at the same level anymore. I think Kelly does a great job as his replacement, even though there will never be another Lou.
I was just about to write something similar
Sadly, he's never been the same since his brain tumor. Life can be brutal. :(
I thought the same until I saw him at the Lynden fair in Washington....had everyone in tears of joy. I don't know if he was just having a good day? Because I've seen videos that weren't great. Also his backing band was Asia!? They are amazing musicians? I never paid attention but have to say them together was as close to old foureigner.
@@colico14 Respect to him anyway.Such a big surgery.
@@steveoz4382 Ken,even Corabi had a career before Crue.
Kelly is definitely a great singer
I was a big fan of Hurricane in like 1988
That said the man has done a admirable job in Lou Gramms stead
but please let us be real.
Lou Grammis one of THE greatest rock singers ever.
Power
Range
Grace
Presence
Great song writing skill
It is a tragedy that a talent of that level was cut short
I have in the last 10 years or so to begin to really get how great Lou is
Thank You Lou a real HEAD KNOCKER
Melhor comentário sobre os dois vocalista do Foreigner
I saw Hurricane with Stryper, March 31, 1987 in Peoria, IL, and recorded the whole show on cassette, and still have it. Jay Schellen just rocked those drums, especially during his solo.
Totally agree, Kelly is good. Gramm is among the very best.
THIS, RIGHT HERE!! I couldn't have said it any better, and everything that I could not find the words for, you said clearly for me! Right on target, you are‼️🙌😎🎸🥁🎹🎵🎶🎵🤘
Lou will never be beaten. So glad I got to see all the original members before this tribute band in my opinion.
Lou Gramm was the voice that made Foreigner period! No one could match Lou. Hey Lou we miss you buddy.
May God bless Lou Gramm wherever he is. I bought those albums when they first came out and that wonderful voice brought me through some really hard times in my life. Truly one of the greatest singers in my lifetime
Lou Gramm was one of a kind,he sang with feeling and from the heart. One of the top 10 vocalists of all time.Kelly is good but he is not in the same league as Lou.This new Foreigner is just a good tribute band period.
The energy from the original Foreigner playing live, back in the late 70's and early 80's, is like no other band from that era. The drummer, Dennis Elliott is a huge inspiration for me. He goes absolutely bonkers on those early records. Really adds that intense energy, speed, and signature Foreigner sound, imo.
Thank you for articulating! Excellent points. 🙂
No way, Lou was better. His sound and style back in the day will never be bested!!
Lou's "Midnight Blue" is an awesome song, a top song for me.
I loved both of his big solo singles.
Stephen 'Midnight Blue is my fav. And yes I agree with u!!
“That was yesterday “a top 1 for me
Just saw him on Friday..73yrs old and still singing...will not see the other guy
I would just like to say one more thing,Lou is definitely one of the best singers in my book,I had all there albums and loved it.
I was there from the beginning, 63 years young. Lou is Foreigner but Kelly is Awesome in his own way!!!! Kelly brought the Drive back!! Thank you Lou!FOREIGNER 4EVER!!!!
Lou attacks the song. His tone, vibrato and the fact that he's singing something he wrote translates. The original band also played with WAY more attitude. V 1 all day thank you
Oh gosh I’ll always love love live Lou Gramm. I’m 65 and I still have a crush on that man. Bless you Lou. The best.😘❤️😘❤️
Like 'Dennis DeYoung' says- original lead singers are almost impossible to replace!
Hot Blooded was the first rock song that I ever listened to. Lou Gramm was the power of the band.
Lou Gramm, without a doubt. Naturally gifted, talented.
They are both brilliant singers
My momma was in love with lou when she heard his voice she would melt
No one can touch Lou Gramm when it comes to vocals in Foreigner
I'm a 62 yr old percussionist from the late 70's classic rock era still jamming today at age 62, Lou , Paul Rodgers, Steve Perry Top 3 in my book, classic rock can't be beat ! 👍🥁
Paul Rodgers is the Throat G.O.A.T!
Add Meatloaf to that great list of yours
Brad delph from Boston
Dio
Lou Gram totally was original high energy performance loved his voice
All the top hits were during Lou Gram with Foreigner
I grew up listening to Lou Graham and others in the late 70s and early 80s. Lou Grahams voice was iconic and could not be duplicated or replaced! Lou Graham also had some great hits when he left Foreigner like Midnight Blue and Ready or Not.
Lou can still sing pretty damn well. I know he had health issues and had to leave, but when they replaced him, Foreigner became a cover band. At least when Sammy Hagar replaced David Lee Roth and Brian Johnson replaced Bon Scott, both Van Halen and AC/DC made a lot of new music for years, and many were big hits. What did Foreigner really do besides play their classic hits?
Yeah, he fell out in Japan in 95. Came back to the states to have a huge tumor taken from his brain.
He had to learn to sing all over again. Now has a gospel band with his brother called the LGB. Lou Gramm Band.
@@marilyngordy3670 Not true at all . Lou ended the LGB in 2019 and came out of retirement in 2021 he performs with ASIA currently and those concerts are on TH-cam. As far as his tumor , this is what happened. The day before Lou was to leave for Japan in 1996-97 , he went to get an MRI and it revealed that Lou had a tumor in the frontal lobe of his brain the size of an egg and this was after a while when he was already experiencing headaches, blurred vision , repeating himself and couldn't remember his parents phone number which he said they had for 30 yrs . Actually he was told by 2 doctors (in Rochester N.Y) to get his things in order, before doctor Black in Boston removed the tumor by Lazer surgery followed by 30 days of radiation treatment afterwards in April 1997 . Lou informed Mick Jones and the band members(of his diagnosis) and the tour to Japan was postponed .Not long afterwards greedy Mick Jones pushed Lou who should've been home recuperating, had him back on stage in order to avoid lawsuits due to contracts signed before Lous diagnosis and it was very humiliating, Lous weight gain, taking 12 medications and had to have the words to the songs on cardboard paper laid out on stage because he couldn't retain the words by memory . Money mattered more to the band than Lous health. If you haven't read Lous book, "Lou Gramm "JUKE BOX HERO" My 5 decades in Rock n Roll. You should read it, Lou tells it like it is without slamming anybody.
Actually the tumor was benign.
Check out Foreigner's album 'In Pieces'. All original and pretty good. But radio stopped giving them respect once Gramm left for good.
@@waltersimmons946 gracias por explicar.
My God, who did it better? Lou Gramm, easily a top 5 rock vocalist of ALL TIME vs a replacement singer. Hmmm, let me think about it….
Hands down Lou Gramm!!! I use to listen to him as a young kid all the time. I think I was 10. Saw him live at 40 something with the band. His vocals were flawless live. Just like listening to him on CD. So hell no nobody does it better than Lou! Period!!!
Agreed - Lou Gramm 💯 whole nother level !! And your push points as well .. well done cheers !! Nicely analyzed ..
Lou has a tone that is signature it can't be duplicated and it grabs you right away. The first time I heard Cold As Ice in junior high I was hooked.
I played LOU’S hits every day while on the air at KIQQ (K-100) in LOS ANGELES in the late 70’s-early 80’s and FOREIGNER’s WAITING FOR A GIRL LIKE YOU had to be one of the greatest vocal performances of the era. It was a beautiful song and LOU’s voice made it come alive. That last note he hit at the end was incredible. What a range!
Loved KIQQ! You were the only station to play Journey's "Only Solutions"... Then it became Pirate Radio if I'm not mistaken?
Yeah I listen to all the songs Lou sang just to cheer myself up!
I'm glad you picked Lou
At the 8:20 mark, nice job showing the difference between Lou Gramm and Kelly Hansen. I expected to not like Kelly but he does a solid job of covering the songs of an Iconic band. Lou still does it greater.
Lou's voice is distinct. You know it's him.
I can't listen to Foreigner without Lou. I accidentally got a Cd once with the other guy and I tossed it
"the other guy" 😂
I made that same mistake just yesterday. Tossed it aside. I won’t be listening to “fake” FOREIGNER..
I made that mistake just yesterday. Won’t be listening to FAKE FOREIGNER
Agree, Lou was Foreigner to me.
I hate that they re-recorded the old songs and tried to sound as exactly alike as the originals and pass it off as the originals.
There is no "Foreigner" without Lou Gramm.
Lou Gramm is often overlooked...why I do not know....but he definitely belongs on the Mt. Rushmore of rock vocalists. I saw them live on the "Head Games" tour with Rush as the opening act. Good times.
Another person no one could ever replace is Paul Rodgers of Bad Company. A couple of guys have tried, but Paul Rodgers is just so unique and special in his talent.
Lou Gramm, without question. Lou is an amazing singer and Kelly isn’t Foreigner.
Kelly rocks to he is great
always thought Kelly kind of looked like Steven Tyler somewhat
I don't think it would have been such a billboard hit if Kelly had sung it originally
Pearl lady22 I agree with you
I just got back from the concert and Kelly did amazing actually. Although he’s not lou obviously, he actually hit the notes very well! And the performance shown on this video wasn’t as good as the real live performance.
Lou's voice is just so amazing and has such a raw sound when live.
Lou all the way, I grew up with him and that is the sound of Foreigner!!!
I went down the Lou Gramm rabbit hole this weekend. I’m sure you understand how very personal music is. How it evokes SO much emotion. Sometimes it’s downright depressing.
I really LOVE his voice. I have a SUPER hard time when someone else steps in when it’s lead vocals. That said; Kelly really is a good showman and it seems like he’s at least attempting to resemble Lou but it’s not my bag. I wouldn’t pay money to see Foreigner and I’d be super depressed he’s a great singer but Lou is Lou.
I’ve watched the recent performances of Lou and read up on what he’s been through. It’s sad really with one caveat. (Caveat?). He found Jesus. I LOVE that for him!!
Getting older. Losing your voice all that stinks pretty much. I know when he goes out there and gives it his all only to have his voice betray him it’s got to really hit hard. When I watch the old stuff back I really REALLY get sad!!
Funny you say this because good melody will invoke emotion. Too much melody and you wind up with a sad song. I like good melody but hate sad songs. A super melodic verse is only good when followed by an uplifting chorus.
No Comparison!!! Lou's voice has texture!!!! Just Beautiful!!!!
Your review is fair, and your attention to detail is highly accurate. Lou Gramm for the win!
Lou IS Foreigner. Sorry but it’s the truth! What a true gentleman too. He always takes time to personally respond to fans and chat with them about music, muscle cars, etc. A musician of his league and his status yet you’ll find him at your local car show hanging out…says a lot about the man.
