Why are you twisting every thing this lady says? It quite clear from what the lady says, her husband died in the hospital and not in companies truck. Unless this driver had his own insurance, the company are not responsible for anything and legally not liable for anything.
Secondly, you keep twisting and repeating your questions, lady is saying one thing your are hearing something else. Why don’t you get hearing aid for yourself?
He was employed by company, he was not owner-operator so he would have like small life insurance that all companies provide which is around 25000$ that can cover funeral costs if he was working at the time of death. But if he bought LMIA from company, the owners of company would not give a damn. I think the company kept the insurance money and salary in separate bank account that they own. The wife should have contacted the media and lawyers earlier.

On LMIA employer must paid employees promised & competitive wages. She should have contact service Canada & labour ministry for further assistance
