Yes I have two videos that took off. Im at 2,311 right now. I need to start going live. When does the 12 months start? Do you know?
The 12 months start from each day. So example: Today is March 22nd, So your 12 months only count up until March 22nd of last year. Each day drops off your stats from the previous day of the previous year. I hope that makes sense

So are you saying don’t use TH-cam shorts at all?
It’s not my focus, but I do have them. They don’t count towards watch hours but my views are coming from a few juicing videos that have done really well.
I would not recommend posting shorts at the beginning stages of your TH-cam Journey if your end goal is to build a loyal community around your brand and/or business on TH-cam.
You are essentially catering to 2 different audiences that consume content differently.
Shorts do contribute to your watch hours if I am not mistaken. I have seen someone show the amount of watch hours they got from their shorts content before.
So shorts have “watch hours” but they do not count towards monetization. Thats what I was trying to say essentially.
@@LifeWithTerricaThey count towards monetization. But you have to get 10 Million views within 90 days to meet the qualification. Thats ALOT of views lol
