Hi babes, it’s been a while! I’ve missed you but I’ve been incognito as I was busy for finals week at Art school. As you’ll see in today’s vlog, it’s been a really productive (and busy) few weeks but I managed to film all of it and am super excited to be able to share this milestone with you. In case you’re new, I am an art student in Paris studying mixed media, performance, film and installation. In France you get your bachelors degree in art college in three years (and five for your masters degree, so yes I will be staying and extra two years to get my Masters degree!). You have to pass in front of a jury, so this whole week in my life preparing was a kind of fun and bizarre emotional rollercoster between installing my artwork, doing rehearsals, and finally celebrating. This was probably the most I’ve shared of my art practice on youtube (I hope you all enjoy) but I really feel like you have had a special part of my journey as an artist so far (especially watching my studio vlogs, painting and making sculpture with me-or even just showing your support by watching my channel!) so I felt like opening up my world a little more.
I also filmed some of my classmates and interviewed them on their artwork (which is much different than mine), but decided to make that a completely different video as it has more of a documentary feel to it. Now that it’s summer I will be putting out a video once a week, so let me know if you have anything special you want to see!

I was studying in an art school for 6 years, and took fine arts in university. However, I recently change my course to illustration as I saw a potential in myself that I could carry in the future. But man, watching this video made me so happy. The performance was so great, I can't describe in words how it made me feel. The whole decor felt like it was a reflection of what goes through our minds, at this point, I have to take it personally, it feels like I can see everything and touch everything but the image is vague and when I'm up close they objects get distorted. Overall a very beautiful performance and an inspiring message, I loved how you included your friends in this, made it feel more personal. Keep up the good work, I appreciate what you're doing.
