If the president was serious about supporting local manufacturing, the government would have supported mobius instead of buying fancy range rovers, wat a shame
You still believe in the president wa story za jaba and always giving promises that none of the promises has manifested into an action........This weekend, it was the fifth time in public since last month him saying he is not a mad man
Well said 👏
Then Mobius should have worked harder to make that happen. Tesla started out the same way , but developed a cult following of people that supported them, even bought cars in advance. Tesla also lobbied very hard to get incentives from the government , which essentially have kept them afloat all this time. Even with that it still posted losses each year since 2003 and only achieved profitability in 2013 and 2019 is when it achieved sustained profitability.
@@walexia Are you daft, do you think Mobius has the same kind of Runway that Tesla had, You cannot make that comparison since Warren Buffet himself invested in Mobius. the Macro conditions are very different, and America's economy is exponentially larger than ours
💯
At this rate hata mama mboga watafunga.
Claiming insolvency.
all government vehicles should have been Mobius from the president's entourage to all state owned vehicles...
Bana you are right, I once worked for a certain organisation from w certain country in Europe 90% of the items we used including big things such as cars and small things like pens came from their country and that was made clear.
💯 I honestly wonder if anyone that has been in this country's leadership the last decade or so really understands - or cares - that manufacturing would have been a great way to move this country forward, yet it has been dying a long slow death for years now. There doesn't seem to be any will to change that by making the business environment more conducive, or even doing obvious things like what you mentioned. Kazi wanatengeneza ni za mjengo tu.
He and his gang doesn't care about the country lol
Why did the govt not support this company by buying Kenya build Kenya instead of buying expensive SUV's from japan. Really
we blame rutoo
High import duty, high production cost, heavy taxation.... What do you expect ruto
Mobius was never a Kenya made car.... but assembled
We can't buy locals while our goon's of government and mpigs are swimming with range Rovers, they should be an example for us but yet they like Prados and ranges why not us also
they were only rebadging this car. It is Chineese made but we cannot ignore the stupidly high import taxes in Kenya. For 1.5 million on a zero mileage SUV, Mobius really tried, I even guess they were selling it at a loss
What a shame
RUTO hii ndio economic growth you're taking about,😂 all the money wasted on dying parasratals like KQ should be invested in such local manufacturers. KENYA is a joke
Sad news, yet leaders greedly working
Zakayo is now happy
Our government is also not favourable the president must do something to assist investors
No way .i wanted a mobius
Baic bj40=mobius 3
No market fit/ Bad marketing maybe? The SUV never really captured the hearts of Kenyans.
Kenyans are still taking bank loans to get their hands on RangeRovers wanataka Brand iko na nare already.. plus most first car owners opt for economical cars like Mazda Demio
Wish they can convert the car to electric
😂😂😂 very good I was not proud when this guys where sponsored, saying that it's a kenyan made
They did what they could, we blame the government.
Wakenya mnunue gari Zeno
Under Ruto businesses which have exited we are tired of counting. Should this guy will ground this economy for people to wake up?
Rutonomics at work
So sad ! Try PPP.
wanauza gari ghali nani atanunua heri wafunge waende kabisa
Yet Joho makes 400m every year
Outcome of poor leadership !!!
Kenya is not safe to invest
8/8 muching number will not add any values to they protests thi is a childish play ati nane nane tena 9/9 10/10 let this be final
Mugure plz kaa nyumbani 😅😂aikuhusu so be it
