    Love this company. Products and support are top notch. Finally someone comes into the classic car interior space and shakes it up. Cant wait to see what is next from this great company.

    Holy Kerr Ap. All of this is on my bucket list for a '67 Mustang coupe. Wish I hadn't bought my standard door panels and arm rests (yet to be installed). The console would solve my extra gage problem too. Great episode!

      Thanks Tim. I know that California has been hit really hard with Covid work stoppages. It can create a huge backlog.

    I've never been a leather fan (on car seats that is...certainly in other places when worn correctly...by the appropriate person) but those panels now have me thinking about sued accents...

    As you know I have a blown 67 camaro which I've finished the resto on but I also have an Australian AMC Rambler Hornet 4 door. I really wish someone would create moulds for short run cars like these. How hard is it to make up template door cards and build a set of these real nice door trims. Seats should be fine as the hornet has a flat floor. The roof mould, that would be fantastic in a hornet, guys are restoring these now and again the research only needs to be done once and then custom order the moulds and cover them. There are a lot of cars that are just rusting into the earth, it's really difficult to bring them back if there is no aftermarket parts. People jump up and down when you replace a AMC engine with a Ford or Chev, but the reality is parts are cheaper but it still gets the car back on the road.
    Good edition

      We plan on doing custom door panels on the '64 Falcon soon Paul. Just sit tight and we will jump off into that down the road a bit. We're talking to dean about doing one for the Falcon. But keep in mind the hard part is the different contours and area size of all the makes. Sadly for those that have car with less mass market appeal it doesn't make sense for a company to tool up to build small numbers of parts. We pan to do a video on this very topic soon, explaining why this business metric happens.

    I went to the TMI website and couldn't find anything for 67 mustangs or anything below a 79 model. Where can I find all of the products displayed in this video?

    I should probably call TMI but I thought I could ask here first. I've seen their website and unless I'm completely blind, I cant seem to find the rear seat foam for any of the seats. I'm really into the XR seats with the matching door panels and console. (can you buy completed seats?) One more thing, The dash pad that was discussed in this video sounds much better then the traditional one but I cant find it, the man said it would be 90 days before it came out, and its been 6 months....Thank you!

  • @Mantas840

    Will these seats fit an Australian XA falcon 4 door?

    • @AutoRestoMod
      @AutoRestoMod  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. But the fold forward feature would be a bit lost on the XA. Remember, the XA is basically a reskinned US Fairlane, They have already done on a '67 Fairlane and have the stands for that chassis. Dean said that they are looking at having the back seat panels sewn and ready to be inserted on a locally assembled rear seat as well...

    i have been watching this for a while. i have 65 fastback and there is a guy who is doing a review of these seats on a 65 mustang for mustang monthly on vintage-mustang forum and he has a set of the sport xr that he had done in poppy red accent to match his car and they are gorgeous

    It's a shame they don't do Mopar they seem to produce nice stuff I went to the site and got bummed out they could probably make my Duster interior alot nicer than what is available.

    • @AutoRestoMod
      @AutoRestoMod  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well technically they don't do Falcon or Fairlane either. But the new Sport Seats get you away from that problem. We plan to use the low back headrest seats for our '64. Dean is also talking about doing a seat panel (tops and bun faces) that you can have sewn onto your back seats. That is what we are going to do on the Falcon.

    I'm very interested but pricing is whoa!

    • @AutoRestoMod
      @AutoRestoMod  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Keep in mind it is an all new seat with full adjustment. A completely new stock seat would run you around $650 per seat if you bought all the parts brand new. And that has no previsions for recline.

    • @Cobrafanatik22
      @Cobrafanatik22 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      You have a point. I'm more interested in the seat foam and covers that they sell that will go on my current seat frames. Just the two fronts and the rear seat would be great.

    • @AutoRestoMod
      @AutoRestoMod  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cobrafanatik22 Dig it. They offer Sport Seat seat foam and covers that are really nice. We have a set that are going into the '67. Check that out as an alternative!

    So far TMI has been bad quality. My TMI dash for 1970 mustang was bad fit. My center console is poorly made, and the tmi seats ive seen so far all sit very very high even when on the ground lowest can be.

      Suede was used in the SVT Cobra...BUT if you don't like suede...don't use it.

    all this time making retro shit and they should at least try to do something useful like making new door inserts / redesigning it so it wont fail in heat ... i had to pay $150 for new inserts leather, theyre nicer, but still glued.

    Don't buy from TMI they will rip you off and they don't care. Find
    someone else that don't try to charge you more in shipping cost.
