      Indeed Saskatchewan has some of the best frosts during winter, it's just that Regina (SK) is not a popular/known place to people.

    mam what about crimerate in regina...could you please tell me about that

    • @BongBackpackerz
      @BongBackpackerz  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Crime rate is statistically a bit higher as compared to other provinces in Canada , but realistically we didn't face any issues as such. It always depends.

    Hi...nice video..I want to know how the job opportunities for new PR Immigrants in Regina ?

    • @BongBackpackerz
      @BongBackpackerz  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends on what sector you are looking for. Please study a bit on web to get better idea since we are not at all best sources. Only thing we can say is that Saskatchewan is a growing province and has more and more opportunities opening everyday. You just gotta find the right one :) Hope this helps

    Please help me are winter's too much extreme in Regina and no one comes out of their house as i am planning to come in December .my relatives are making my parents scared and they say there are many effects on skin Nd hair. Please reply

    • @BongBackpackerz
      @BongBackpackerz  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Harjot, nothing to be scared of.. more than 200000 people live here including significant number of Indians.. Yes there are a few misconceptions around the winter in Regina but if you trust our word then nothing to be scared of unless you have some serious medical conditions already..
      Winter is a bit harsh here for a couple of months.. And in winter that is also true that people tend to spend more time indoor than outdoor.. But you have plenty to do and can easily go outside if you want..
      Hope this helps!! Have enough warm clothing since you will experience Regina in December.. You will do just fine..
      Hope this helps!! See you soon in Regina! 🙂

    Why Canada do u have this type of name

    • @BongBackpackerz
      @BongBackpackerz  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Saskatchewan. The name of the province comes from the Cree name for the Saskatchewan River, “Kisiskatchewanisipi” or “swift-flowing river.” The modern spelling was adopted in 1882 when the area became a district of the North West Territories. (quoted from internet)
      This is basically tribute to the indigenous communities here.
