I definitely recommend " just right Jillian" it's about a shy girl who is under confident, promises her grandma that she will try to be confident and then her grandma passes away and she decides that she will build confidence to keep her promise and there is a lot of things going on which I don't want to ruin
But as an impatient reader , this was an amazing book, and also my favourite book from a year or so!

I can't believe I'm discovering your channel so late, I already love it, I am currently rereading Howl's Moving Castle, ithis is obe of my favourite books ever, I havent read Ella enchanted yet, but the movie really is amazing

I’m 41, so yeah, not in middle grade. But a quality middle grade book can be read by all ages.
I’ve read some of these ones already, and found a few new TBR’s thanks to you.
My favourite middle grade book is “The Rithmatist” by Brandon Sanderson. But be warned it ends on a bit of a cliff hanger and the author has no plan to write the sequel in the near future.
It’s still awesome though.
I can't wait to read some of Brandon Sanderson's books :D

@@ArlinTreatyyou know what- I agree! I’m not happy with his choices and I’m obviously team keefe and I like him better- but fitz isn’t that bad as like Alvar or Brant or Fintain! It’s not like he’s in the Neverseen! And he’s lashed out just like keefe has! So yeah :) but I still love keefe!! And without Fitz, Sophie would be nothing! So yeah I’m 50/50 and he needs more love.

Ella Enchanted is one of my favorite fairytale retellings! Its so good. And do not watch the movie it is horrible.
I just started the Ranger's Apprentice its pretty good!

The movie Ella Enchanted is not awful it’s a fun love story with an evil witch. Going between the real world and a cartoon one. 👍🏻

I think you're thinking about Enchanted with Amy Adams. Ella Enchanted is with Anne Hathaway. I actually really enjoyed both.

How appropriate are these books?
Our daughter just turned 10 and just got into reading wich we are thrilled by, but we want to make sure what she reads is appropriate.
We are very strict about what she can watch/read and dont want her watching or reading anything innapropriate.
Anything with violence, sex, swearing, drugs or dark themes is not allowed and the good guys have to win in the end.
These books sound fun and i think our daughter might really like them but we want to make sure they're appropriate for her before we let her read them.
Middle grade books are very appropriate for kids her age. You can always check for "trigger warnings" on Google !
