Good review. I've had one for 4 years and have travelled 17000kms on it. Never let me down a really reliable bike. Will cruise 90 -95 kph all day. Yes the seat is a bit hard and the mirrors are a bit narrow and do need an extension. I change the oil every 3000kms and use only Penrite. I put a top box on it and have a taller windscreen which are the only mods so far. Will be interested to see how your touring seat goes.
good score on clocking up 17,000 klm. what do you average per tank at say highway speed or arounf the 95 kph mark. ive been using penrite in the motorcycles myself so just wondering there what one have you been using in the scooter. for the past 10 years on the bikes ive been using penrite 10w-50 hpr gas 10
@@tingtong2596 sounds good i might look into that oil. so your 230 klm per tank is that mainly around town and little highway running or mixed riding. i plan to do really no around town runs so mainly highway runs for me. its more like 5 minutes on the scooter and im out of town. so in that case cruising along in the 90/100 kph range may top it out at the 200 klm mark.
@outdoorsdownunder5540 a bit of both highway and around town riding. I live here in Tweed Heads and spent 6 months in Thailand every year. I have one in Thailand also very popular there and about $4000 aust new. That is $2000 less than here not sure why their so expensive here ? maybe tax. I like my scooters easy to ride, cheap to run they are reliable and have some storage space. I think though the xmax is a better choice for all round efficiency better on the highway and a little bit bigger.
yeah i'd say your pretty well spot on there. overall its a pretty nice little ride or i think so. in fact irealy enoyig the nax experence. i've been o the igger and wayor expensve stuff but even on y run out today i thught...ths is a great little rde. rder quite a few accessries too s my next clipswll be dealng with those al the best!
I had a xmax for about a year ,,more powerful than my nmax,,,but At my age of 63 and weak legs the weigh was a big deal.... I ride 100 kph on a regular basis on my nmax.., If I was riding from Sydney to Nowra on a weekly basis then xmax
@@douglassrhine989 yeah i know what you mean there. hard to beat a 300cc bike or near that. i am impressed with how the nmax really performs. pretty well too. im pretty sure it would perform close to an enfield 350 or even a honda gb350 to say up to 80 kph maybe a tad higher
these are cheao scooters and ive had expensive ones too. i came from a 2023 vespa gts 300 ay $13500 so this fir $6000 appears good value to me. also had 3 xmax 300's those are $4000 above this model and not much better had the new forza 350 too. again not a good scooter. ive already change rear shocks on this and i think 20 weight oil in the front forks would help when i had the new honda ct125 trails the 20 weight oil did wonder on those bike overall i still think this is a pretty good scooter but early stages yet. time will tell

@outdoorsdownunder5540 been using Penrite MC 4ST 10w-40. Been getting roughly 230 kms per tank until the trip metre comes in it does vary a little.

@@tingtong2596230 is fairly accurate
Cheers for the review. Looking forward to see how it performs after the break-in period.
should be interesting as i have quite a few mods to list and hopefully a few improvements to the scooter itself
Regarding the starting system, I believe it has a starter/generator, hence why it is so quiet in operation.
must be similar to the honda cb125f i had. it was very quiet in that area too
Have a 2023 ,,the off road ,,ground clearance is a issue,,where you went is about the limit,

Hey Warriors, I’d be interested in hearing your opinion on how the NMAX compares to the XMAX and your Vespa. Performance, comfort, servicing etc.
should be interesting. i have a dozen accessories ordered and will be fitting as i plan to give this scooter a really good work out.

It has no front shocks adjustment..bike nose dives during braking..and faulty key fob..key fob light comes up on dash board during riding

I'd never take it off road wouldn't trust it with bad design front suspension
i have 5 new bikes so was just curious on the day. goes well on the sealed stuff so no complaints my way.
