an arcade style game fits spamton super well, since most arcade games are designed to eat as many quarters as possible, and spamton's designed to scam you out of as much money as possible. (ps it would also be super cool to have a mobile version)
kinda just wanted to let you know this but the game is able to be run on mobile. the only problem is that during the screen that says spoilers it says "press space to continue" and since I'm in mobile I'm not able to actually press space trying to touch anything doesn't work either because to the game it doesn't count as space basically just make the spoiler screen be able to use touch screen to continue if its on something like mobile
Idea: You could even find boss fights upon collecting a specific amount of Kromers, which drops more Kromers upon defeat. They disable every other projectiles upon appearing but put them back after you simply defeat them.
Tasque manager and swatch would be some examples for boss fights I think, with Tasque manager having Tasques do their laser-voice thing and Swatch having little Swatchlings jumping around.
You can also try to fight Kris, but the conditions would be very hard: You'd need to beat the two bosses without losing HPs, afterward, you'd find the Neo Armor. Upon having it, you get to fight Kris.
bruh he's so bad he doesn't even do it while using a steering wheel, playing chess against the chess ai on easy mode, cooking breakfast, performing open heart surgery and winning a football match as the only player on his team.

I think it would be cool if there was a random chance for any head you shoot to be replaced with a Pipis. Or if it could've been some kind of special attack, where you shoot a Pipis, which explodes shooting multiple heads, like in Deltarune.
I loved the game! I played it for an hour or so, and I really enjoyed it! My high score got close to $200,000. I have some notes on how this game could be marginally improved: 1. Add a pause feature. I got to a point at which I was playing the same round for a VERY long time. Eventually, it was less a test of skill than one of endurance. I needed to go to the bathroom. A button that could pause the game would have been very helpful. If you're concerned about the player abusing the pause feature to give them more time to react, you could make the pause screen block out all of the mobile sprites. 2. Hit-by-Club SFX Sometimes I would get hit by one of Jevil's clubs without realizing it. It would have been nice to have a little sound effect (and maybe a visual effect, too) to help me "feel" the hit. 3. Fire button does not move past Game Over screen. I don't know my final high score because, at the time I died, I was, er... *_spamming_* the space bar, so I unintentionally jumped right past the Game Over screen. My recommendation is to provide a separate key to move past the Game Over screen. Alternatively, you could simply provide a couple of seconds of delay after dying before it is possible to move past the Game Over screen. 4. High Score list The arcade concept is great! If the goal is to reach the highest score one can, then it would be nice to maintain a persistent "TOP 10" or other kind of high score list typical of the arcade games of which this game is reminiscent. 5. Progressive difficulty and rewards After a few short "practice" rounds, I got good enough at the game that I could play almost indefinitely. I got hit rarely enough that I got completely healed before getting hit again. At this point, it got a little less interesting, a little more repetitive. A good way to resolve this, in my opinion, is to implement some sort of progressive difficulty, where the game gets harder as you go on, and the rewards get greater, as well, so that the best players still have similarly high scores, but it takes them less time to reach them, as compared to the way it is now. There are a few ways you could implement this. You can make hits cause more damage and/or make healing less effective and frequent, but my favorite idea would be to increase the rate of attacks. Jevil could fire twice as fast, or you could have multiple Jevils on-screen at once in advanced levels, and each Kromer object could provide double (or more?) the amount that they do at lower levels. The difficulty could ramp up naturally as time goes on or as Kromer is collected, or more advanced players could choose a higher difficulty right from the start to start racking up Kromer faster than they would at an easier level, while also getting right into a challenge more appropriate for their skill. 6. High score rewards/congratulations It would be nice to have special, "secret" screens to reward/congratulate players with scores above a certain level. It doesn't have to be anything too fancy. Consider the game over screens for Tetris, or the inter-level screens for PacMan. Just a picture or very short animation that lets the player know "Hey! You achieved something higher than before!". Achieving one of these could also unlock them in a "bonus" menu, so players could see it again to remind themselves what it looks like if they've already earned it, without having to earn it again.

I have a couple suggestions that would make the game a bit better Add iv frames (and if there is some show them) Have Jevil have a 75% chance a throw a club and 25% to throw Kromer Make it so there is some time where you can't continue for a little bit after you die so you can see how well you did without accidentally continuing because the button to continue is the button you'll be hitting constantly (I got like 20K but I couldn't see how much because I was spamming the shoot button). Make Spamton not so slippery Otherwise, pretty good game.
Ngl this game slaps. I feel like this is exactly how Spamton views the world. Like this was a normal day for him before the player showed up. If you wanted a criticism, maybe consider adding another song every now and then, like the slower version of BIG SHOT called NOW'S YOUR CHANCE TO BE A I wonder if Toby is proud of all the games made from his game. I mean I don't know anything about making games and I'm very impressed. I plan on playing this whenever I'm bored, I love Spamton and I love infinite bullet hells lol
neat game! here are a couple extra ideas i can think of: - a queen vase that falls from above, and if you attack it, a bunch of swatchlings spawn to clean it up; they're tough, but you can get extra kromer for defeating them - a banana that you can collect to gain potassium (doesn't actually do anything, but it's the banana)
thank you! i managed to come up with a few more things: - sweet, cap'n, or K_K can show up on their hover turntable things, and will shoot musical projectiles in any direction until they leave (the projectiles can't be destroyed, but they can) - werewires can sometimes dangle from the top of the screen; while you can just shoot them for kromer, they actually give more if you free them by running spamton over the wire multiple times - poppups can pop up on occasion, and will create vision-blocking ads until either you defeat them or they leave on their own
Finally, the thing we've all been asking for. I still want him as a party member. Imagine, a game where Spamton follows you around as an actual party member. Imagine is his mini quotes when you give him an item. It would be everyone's dream to have a miniboss follow them around after they beat them.
Other ideas: adding a [specil] item that causes spamton to become neo and fire a three-way shot with more powerful [pipis] for a short while could be a cool idea.
IDEA: loaded disk slowly falls down. When touched, spamton becomes NEO. He is invincible and can shoot pipis from his arm cannon, which is bigger than regular shots. The pipis also does more damage. NEO mode lasts 15 seconds.
Suggestion: Have power ups that randomly appear when defeating enemies! They could be based on different bullet patterns from the game, like the swirly words, the heart attack, or Pipis!
If you think about it spamton and kris have a lot in common, like being.. ‘controlled’ like a ‘puppet’. We as the player control kris with the soul.. but when kris throws the soul away.. it’s a different story. It’s like Kris and spamton both wanted the same thing.. Freedom.

Posted your vid on Deltarune subreddit for visibility. It's pretty fun, got to 60k points and stopped because I was able to survive infinitely with the heals, so it could use more levels with progressive difficulty, and little less Berdlys. I know It's just a little fun project, but I enjoyed it so that's my constructive feedback.
Here's a suggestion, Make it so you can make a deal as spamton, which after it happens, the kromer will increase a bit more than it does normally when destroying enemies like the yellow soul for a limited time
idea: have the queen's vase fall down the screen, if you break it a swatchling will come racing on the screen where the vase broke, and you have to avoid the swatchling.
If you ever decide to update it, you should add boss battles with some of the main cast! It'd be really cool to have Susie, Ralsei, Kris, and Noelle appear as boss battles! Maybe even Queen (Since she's the one who kinda ruined Spamtom in the first place)
i think jevil is my favourite part of the game, both because he really gives you a run for your money (wa-hey) and also because when he is on screen it kind of feels like he is throwing treats for spamton in return for spamton jumping over his clubs, like he is a dog and jevil is teaching him tricks LMAO just had a round where i got around 340,000 kromer playing the game whilst listening to a podcast and it was really fun
Ideas: What if there was a shop in between rounds where you could spend the [Kromer] you collected to get little upgrades for Spamton. Like more health, more damage, and more healing from the healer. And what if things got crazier as each round went on. Making it hard and hard as the rounds progress. Also, good job on the game my dude, really it's fun. I can't stop playing it.
If I was to make a game around spamton, it would be his backstory from when he was merely the Email guy, progressing to his "Big days", until we meet Kris. There would probably be a bunch of time skips and loose ends, but it would basically work. I like the game made here, don't get me wrong. It's just a matter of opinions
there could be a 1/100 chance of gaster on the game screen and after a second the game would crash and maybe iceshock that have 1/10 chance to be snowgrave maybe rude buster can have 1/10 chance to be red buster kris's souls would shot, you can destroy the bullets and there would be 1/10 chance for kris's bullet (btw if you shoot normal bullet both, your and kris's bullet would die) to be a BIG SHOT (it would destroy your bullets) and jevil's attack have 1/10 chance to be this scythe or whatever is that there is a 1/50 chance that there is a emptyDisk in the battle, if you have 3 than you need to wait 5 minutes for them to load to become NEO as NEO you have 3 HP more and can defeat kris's bullet without destroying yours, even big shots, jevil's attacks, scythes and rude busters (you still cant defeat red busters lol) there would be x-slashes too
It should have a few more enemies as you get higher Kromer. Like Swatchlings bouncing up and down from the sides of the screen. After you get used to the loop, it's easy to get past 100k kromer

Pipis could also be used as an explosive attack to assist the player, or perhaps it could also be featured as a healing item, referencing Fried Pipis.

Posted your vid on Deltarune subreddit for visibility. It's pretty fun, got to 60k points and stopped because I was able to survive infinitely with the heals, so it could use more levels with progressive difficulty, and little less Berdlys. I know It's just a little fun project, but I enjoyed it so that's my constructive feedback.

Make it so you can make a deal as spamton, which after it happens, the kromer will increase a bit more than it does normally when destroying enemies like the yellow soul for a limited time

I think using BIG SHOT isn't really the best choice, as it's very intense. Maybe Now's Your Chance To Be A would be a better song for the game.

If you ever decide to update it, you should add boss battles with some of the main cast! It'd be really cool to have Susie, Ralsei, Kris, and Noelle appear as boss battles! Maybe even Queen (Since she's the one who kinda ruined Spamtom in the first place)

i think jevil is my favourite part of the game, both because he really gives you a run for your money (wa-hey) and also because when he is on screen it kind of feels like he is throwing treats for spamton in return for spamton jumping over his clubs, like he is a dog and jevil is teaching him tricks LMAO
just had a round where i got around 340,000 kromer playing the game whilst listening to a podcast and it was really fun
Ideas: What if there was a shop in between rounds where you could spend the [Kromer] you collected to get little upgrades for Spamton. Like more health, more damage, and more healing from the healer. And what if things got crazier as each round went on. Making it hard and hard as the rounds progress.
Also, good job on the game my dude, really it's fun. I can't stop playing it.
you should have made it so when you get 1997 kromer a phone attack appears and if you shot it it will have the gaster sound like in deltarune

If I was to make a game around spamton, it would be his backstory from when he was merely the Email guy, progressing to his "Big days", until we meet Kris. There would probably be a bunch of time skips and loose ends, but it would basically work. I like the game made here, don't get me wrong. It's just a matter of opinions

Been watching your channel for a while, you really popped off with this one
there could be a 1/100 chance of gaster on the game screen and after a second the game would crash
and maybe iceshock that have 1/10 chance to be snowgrave
maybe rude buster can have 1/10 chance to be red buster
kris's souls would shot, you can destroy the bullets
and there would be 1/10 chance for kris's bullet (btw if you shoot normal bullet both, your and kris's bullet would die) to be a BIG SHOT (it would destroy your bullets)
and jevil's attack have 1/10 chance to be this scythe or whatever is that
there is a 1/50 chance that there is a emptyDisk in the battle, if you have 3 than you need to wait 5 minutes for them to load to become NEO
as NEO you have 3 HP more and can defeat kris's bullet without destroying yours, even big shots, jevil's attacks, scythes and rude busters (you still cant defeat red busters lol)

It should have a few more enemies as you get higher Kromer. Like Swatchlings bouncing up and down from the sides of the screen. After you get used to the loop, it's easy to get past 100k kromer
A power up that temporarily makes spamton NEO and replaces his head firing attack with pipis (that explode into more heads) would be a nice touch
