I have owned Skeeter Boats since 1960 and fished a lot of lakes in Louisiana and Texas. I had a 14 ft Skeeter with a Merc 20 HP for many years. I have owned a 200 ZX and I ran a Merc 280 HP with 26" Pro ET Bad to the bone. I now own a Skeeter 202C-ZX and a Merc 225. I also owned a Bullet 21 XDC with a Merc 300 with a 32" Pro ET. The best bass boat on the water is the Skeeter Bass Boat, The Skeeters are tougher, safer, faster, reliable, boats on the rough waters as well as calm waters.
I have a 95 procraft 180, with a 150 XR6 mercury, I bought it brand new still runs good added jack plate , had steering, different prop, I can get 62 mph , on GPS on a good day, ive bought a 200 xri to put on it , but have not done it yet, ive thought about buying a newer outfit , skeeter is impressive.
Wow that's impressive. Mabey when I buy a skeeter and cant catch a fish to save my life I'll start cutting 360s mid tournament because that makes perfect sense.
I still have my starfire 80 put a new mercury 60hp four stroke love It still use It for trolling for trout and strippers , and Its like enough to go In the back country..........
JDM Holy smokes man calm down. Skeeter hulls recently were designed my NASA engineers, they make no other claim. Champion boats are no longer in business if you haven't noticed. Skeeter was turning 360's over 10 yrs ago. Not a big deal in any case. Skeeter is one of if not the Best handling boat available right now. No chine walking! And will turn and handle as good if not better than any current boat on the market.
Why when i bought mine i went with 4 blade prop they told me i would get more performance out of it with that prop and they were right can make turns at high speed most others would have prop blowout trying to do. I still get 68 to 70 mph out of it on a ZX180 and 175 Merc.
Is spinning out in corners a good thing? I can say they slide and dont turn well......i had pvc pipes flying at me while passe ger while.the driver was sliding sideways instead of turning. I will say it buffed out so it had a good finish.
Please send this video clip to Scott Martin the famous Skeeter 360 turn if he would do this in the new FXR he just received it would be epic and be the best TH-cam video ever for a pro tournament Angler plus put sale at a all time high just like the trans am from smokey and the bandit sales went crazy after that movie

We usually see videos where the boat's center keel gets caught in a sharp turn and the crew is thrown out, but Skeeter doesn't have that!
