Although I cant afford one, skeeter has a special place in my heart. It was the boat my dad had when i was a kid. He was a florida (also some Georgia) tournament fisherman with a ton of plaques from the 80s early 90s. He passed away in a car accident when I was 16 and the last time we fished it was when I was around 12. (He was rebuilding the motor) I still have the boat even though it is probably too much for me to fix. I just can't get rid of it. I believe it's around a 1990 red skeeter. One day I'll get a nice skeeter and I'm going to get his name on the side. Now I bank fish all the time with my kids. I'm hoping to get a cheap boat for now so I can create those memories with my kids like I did with my dad.
Absolutely crazy how much fishing tech has advanced!!! Always cool to see your new sick boat each year Tyler!!! Also Love the new Channel Banner too!!! But it would be super cool if it was a pic of you with your 14 pound largemouth!! I mean that's the greatest moment in TRF history!!! Can't wait for the next video!!!🔥🔥
As long as I don't eat too much breakfast, I can generally eek out a solid 27 mph on the ole v16 Laker. Ironically, I can try to lose some weight by riding my bicycle at 27 mph so the boat can go a little faster.
@@TylersReelFishing They still have em! Tim is getting his rebuilt, and Matt is gonna be getting back into his soon. I bought mine (a 196SC) a few years ago and completely rebuilt it...couldn't be happier.
I don’t blame ya. I think I’d run a ZXR19 if I had to buy one myself. Company wants us all in the FXRs, but that 19 is a heck of a deal. Whips around good

Not buying it. poles are 20 lbs each and if you run straight lithium's you can run 5 batteries for the same weight as 2 or 3 lead acid. Skeeters have always been great boats, but slow boats. @@TylersReelFishing

Tyler, top notch video editing! Its awesome to watch a 16min youtube video and feel like im watching a fully produced TV show. Great quality!

Beautiful boat Tyler. Looking forward to all the great content this year. God Bless.
I would do anything to get a boat like that the thing is awesome. Love your videos Tyler keep up the good work in 2024.
Such a nice boat, looking forward to see you fish off it.

COULD YOU PLEASE FIND OUT WHY SKEETER DOESN'T HAVE A OPTION FOR SLAM LATCHES ON ALL THE COMPARTMENTS
I’m guessing they did customer research and most people wanted traditional latches
That’s a CRAZY cool boat!
Love it!
That screen is pretty cool. I wish they made something like that compatible with lowrance units
I’m sure someone will eventually
That's apparently a lot of wieght Years ago I road in a 18-19 ft bass boat with a 175 hp as it hit 70 mph.

Beautiful boat man, you definitely got a good thing going with skeeter. Ill stick to my Champion though.
Champs are great boats! FXR hull was designed like a champion. Thats the reason Matt and Tim from Tactical sold their champions and got skeeters

can you tell me where can I get the steps for the boat
Surprised he only went with 50amp hour batteries for his trolling motor. Pretty light duty for what he does
Not with the PowerPole charge and new Yamaha alternator
What did you run your atlas jackplate at for the high speed run?
When do you get over the feeling your gonna bounce out?
Once you do it a few times
Did you get a new truck?
No
I run a 24 ZX 150 and I run with myself fully loaded and another person 58-60 mph I’m 225 myself
Why waste money on bigger engine
What size a the 2 graphs in the back?
10’s

No, directly for skeeter
