Trust issues is totally a huge driver for DIY people, I can totally see that in my own life. Some might think you're arrogant for believing that you... some Joe schmo schmuck... knows how to do something better than someone who's paid to do that job but the truth is, most of the time the people doing the work are teenagers like you say. I trust myself that in the end I'll do a better job and in the process save some money or acquire new tools in the process
I once had a kid drop my vehicle off the hoist at Costco 😂 It was a mess. Not only teenagers but often times trades people are under pressure to get things done quickly. Can’t blame them. But I hear ya!

I actually used to use green painters tape but it left glue residue. Blue works great over the winter and sharpie holds up great. I want a GH6 now 😂
