Dear Sir.I got sensor error of Evaporator entering temperature . I switched the the supply and return sensor but the error is still the same.Do we need to unbind and bind back the sensor when replacing it?
@@EverythingHVACR Thanks sir. I am a bit strange with Trane chiller. To unbind and bind it back, we can do it directly via touch screen or have to use any trane software ?
Depends on the chiller and control. The chiller in this video, you are able to use the touch screen as long as you have the password. If older chiller, you may need tech view software. You can not just swap sensors either.
I ma looking for the new sensor to replace .The damage sensor model is X13650726100 (EIA-1901) and the new one I found on ebay is X13650726100 (EIA-1940). As EIA number is different, can I still replace with new one model?
I think the "X" number is tranes model, but I'm not sure about the other number. You would have to contact trane to be 100 percent sure. They also should have the sensor you need.
Default password can be found in manual, this one was actually changed. I don't remember 100 percent but is was something simple 1234 or 0000, something like that
Try the others I gave previously, if this does not work you may need to call harshaw Trane if they did start up they will sometimes change PW, look inside panels for PW possibly written down. You will not be able to bind a sensor if you can't get in to the control
😆 honestly I don't remember off hand, I was able to get ahold of the trane guy who installed it and he set his own PW, it wasn't the factory base line PW.
Damn. I was hoping I could find it. Swapped return sensor cause it showed -60 but now it doesn't read it at all. Thanks for the video, it was tremendous
Best 5 mins I spent on training this month.
Thanks ROB! I appreciate it 🙏
Good video. I have an rtac with water flow issues. What direction should the dimple on the sensor face?
Not sure what dimple your talking about but I would say read the manual or contact manufacturer is your best bet.
Nice video. I’m doing the same job on a CVHF tomorrow.
Thanks Brian! The new control makes it easy, using tech view is a bit more of a process with the older chillers.
Does the chiller have to be off to change sensor?
No, the control has to be on to identify the new sensor
I HAVE
Love the intro and the video👍👍
Dang your vids are the best!
Thanks r aeronca! I appreciate the support 🙏
It's all good what you do 👍👍
Thanks John!
Had a couple sensors last week that I needed to leave my magnet on it to bind it again. Sweeping across the sensor wasn’t enough.
Hmm, interesting. I haven't had to leave on there but with tech view I've had to try a few times before it would bind.
Thanks again for another great video man. Love seeing your work.
Thank you S Bing! I appreciate the support.
Does the TRANE black book still good today or is it outdated?
I'm not sure what the black book is honestly or maybe I've heard it called something else. Most trane stuff hasn't changed much.
Cool video brother! 👍 keep it up!
Do you need to shut any water off?
No, the temperature sensors don't know the difference, the probes are isolated from the water, you can change them without turning the water off.

Sir f censor lossen not working anymore?
The sensors will not typically stop working. They usually begin to read a few degrees off and can cause operating issues.
Did you go to TRANE school? I’m confused on the magnet swipe to bind.
I did not. Magnet only activates sensor so the control can see it. binding is done from the control panel. Thanks for watching!
Excelente video My friend
Thanks Uriel! I appreciate it 🙏
great men
Nice
i want password to can bind the new sensor ,can you help?

@@EverythingHVACR thanks for answer
I tried default password 7123 but not work , can you help me to find way to binding the new sensor ,sorry for annoying.thanks in advance

Thx a lot sir.
I try your password but it's not unlocked
Password please 😂.
Congratulations from Brasil 🎉
I don't remember this PW. It was changed at start-up to something random
Thanks
Chiller Mode No.
👍
🙏
What is password
Not sure the factory PW, this one had been changed by installer, you may have to look in manual or contact Trane.
159
What's the super secret password ?
😆 honestly I don't remember off hand, I was able to get ahold of the trane guy who installed it and he set his own PW, it wasn't the factory base line PW.

Thanks, Maira. If it doesn't read, it probably didn't bind correctly. You may have to try a couple of times.
