This video was a lifesaver today. We had a new oil pump high current relay board installed but needed it bound. Easy download and install of Techview, used the magnet on my flashlight on the board beside the com cable connection to get the green light on then it bound and we're up and running again. (replaced the capacitor at the same time). Thanks for sharing.

Great video. We have a situation where we can't reset communication loss fan stage 1,2 and 3. All plugs and the cable are OK. What could be the problem?
Sir,i have some binding issue,i can lightup the led at the liquid level sensor,but when i bind the techview says unnnable to find selected device The liquid level is a new part installed Then i do binding the old liquid level and i had same problem, i have change module ch530 and doesnt work , is my new liquid level part is defective
Why is it necessary to hold a magnet on the LED to bind the sensors of the trane brand chiller? Why and how does the LED light up when you hold the magnet?
Not sure how but using the magnet lights up the sensor. Reason you light it up is because they computer will ask if it’s lit up so it knows the proper sensor to bind in. There are many in the system.
Why is it when I click local connection it ask me to select communication port com 1, 2 , 3 which one is it ? Do o Try em all to see which one please help. I have techview latest version 14.0 and the 14.0 sp16 install both please help.

Go to trane.com or type in tech view software to google and it will pop up. Download it from there or email it to your self then download it to your computer later on. Let me know if it works.
Google trane TechView it’s the second icon down then have it send to your email then download from your email. I will do a video on it here soon. No problem. When you google it, it will say trane QC click that then it will take you to the download page.

If plugs and cables are good it has to be what they are wired in to like a bored or something went bad.

I have not ran into this issue before. I would say, yeah try em all see what happens. Sorry unable to help in this question
Go to device manager on your computer while the adapter is connected to see which Com port is in use.

Every time I have found 1 that has failed it’s already unbound. The system is already not seeing or reading it.

@@paulooliquino9461 trane techview y only for CH530, newer centrifugal chillers are with another control system, techview is not supported.
