When Afghanistan was under USA, no one was talking about the rights of humans in general. When Taliban toke over, everyone is concerned with the rights of women and their education. I have just a simple request "Leave this country on its own, You will see the results".

The Afghan economy is not in a phase that needs all poplation to get directly involved in the market. There is high unemployment even among men. So, it is totally understandable why women education and professional training is not the priority. Remember, the west only allowed women into market 200 years after industrializtion. We should speak context before moral judgment.

As an Afghan, I think Afghanistan is one of the countries which is on a counter-clockwise progress. Women used to be able to go to school and work, but no longer. Poverty and hunger have gotten worse. Even Taliban members don't get along anymore. ISIS has gotten stronger. A modern government was handed to a group of people who could barely read and write and did not even know the basics of modern governance whether it's economics or education, etc. Currently, most important positions in the government are given to the loyalists and friends of the Taliban, not based on merit, but based on loyalty. Also, Taliban is an egomaniac group who thinks no one else understands Islam but them. For them, everyone is out of this world and they are the righteous and the chosen ones. It's very hard to argue or make progress with that kind of mentality. If they believe that the Sun is revolving around Earth, they will not change their mind and reject and even jail anyone who believes otherwise. So yeah, it's hard to govern with that mentality.

As an afghan woman i wish the government understand the importance of education for all Afghans! At the same time I believe how they struggle after 43 years war and 2 Empires Occupation. I believe in their faith and they struggled a lot and learned! Unfortunately the rest of the world, especially those countries who lost the war, didn’t negotiate with them. Afghanistan was always used by foreign countries.. nobody cares about Afghans, but we should do!

The end goal is to be educated enough it can be from Formal School or elsewhere, the goal is education which is necessary and has to be proper.
