frozen food actually has a way bigger range of food compared to all the frozen pizza, lasagne, dumplings, sausage etc they had 🤣 eg like all the frozen meats/seafood people buy for steamboat etc eh!!

Frozen prawns, broccoli, corns, beans, cauliflower, chicken breast, scallops, shabu shabu etc etc
Can cook up a storm with these and more leh

I think the problem is that they prolly didnt find the right frozen food to eat! CP’s basil chicken with rice.. CP’s green curry with rice.. frozen salmon.. frozen veges, frozen sara lee cake, frozen pancake/waffles, frozen burger patties, frozen lor mai kai... the possibilities are endless! :)

There is alot of loopholes though.
In FnB, most ingredients, especially meat are usually frozen(;
Mcdonald patties are frozen. They are fast food restaurant for a reason. Could have just ordered the burger without sauce, cheese & lettuce (aint frozen) 😅

I’m actually a little disappointed that the participants did not go out of their way to find frozen foods that are out there in the market other than the usual pizza, lasagnas and dumplings. There are A LOT of varieties for frozen food in Sg, especially in recent years. From frozen pasta, frozen fried Thai vermicelli, frozen fried rice, and they all really taste good. Just a simple walk through Cold Storage, or the petrol kiosks and 7-11s in Sg and you’ll find a LARGE variety of frozen food... I’m a huge fan of frozen food (bad, I know) but I was hoping this episode would’ve shed more light on the frozen food “scene” in Sg. Would appreciate the episode more if the contestants actually put in more effort when doing the challenge by finding more alternatives instead of complaining about the repetition of food when it’s actually not that bad because of the varieties available nowadays.
Some frozen food suggestions for the hungry people sourcing for supper alternatives:
• The Common Good pasta (Any is good)
• CP Frozen Honey Chicken Wings
• CP Thai basil chicken rice
• CP glass noodles with baked shrimps
• 7-11 nasi briyani
• Frozen rose n mentaiko pasta from Donki
• Frozen kimchi pancake
• Frozen kimchi and tofu stew
• Frozen prawn fried rice (Bibigo brand)
• Saybons truffle mushroom pasta
Most of these are available at Cold Storage, Donki, 7-11, Fairprice Xpress (petrol stations) and FairPrice Finest.

isnt a spork super weird haha when u use the fork, ur hand is touching the spoon, and thn when u use the spoon which is now not so clean, your hand will be touching the fork that touched the food

I wonder why don't use those frozen vegetables, seafood and last frozen ready to eat or pre cooked food. Would be much better. But than will need lot of time to cook the meal or pre cooked food to frozen than reheat it. Just like meal prep
