@@kirstysaquatics547 Hi. I've used coconut oil for years, not too much, my hair loves it. I use different hair oils, to wear for shine and nourishment I use coconut oil or anything else I have on hand, Jojoba is very light, Olive oil smells but works in a pinch. Currently trying out the Prose one, it's more like a serum or thick hair product than an oil, looks thick like castor oil but not heavy unless you use alot..I like the smell so I use a bit just for that. The formulas are custom but that's my experience with the one they sent me, smells good, and provides a bit of shine. If your hair is oily and you're looking for more of a treatment, try castor oil, super thick, has to be washed out, application is not fun but apparently it's really nourishing. I found castor to be too drying so I mix it with other oils. For hair growth, to use on the scalp, I highly recommend Mielle Rosemary Mint Scalp & Hair Strengthening oil. Also for a scalp treatment if you need some hair growth, try The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum for Hair Density. Bald spots are gone, hair is fuller now. My family and friends had the same experience with those 2 products. Happy hair experimenting!

I have same hair when my hair is scrunched up wet it’s very wavy but as it dries it goes straighter with much softer waves my daughter gave me some products but all they do is make my hair frizzy I’m new to this game lol I’ve been straightening my hair all my life 😂

Just wash your hair and put curl cream after on damp or wet hair but just use curl cream becuase its the most versatile

You dont use leave in as style
leave in is more for moisture, detangling, smoothing, and shine
cream is for definition and softening
mousse is for volume
gel is for definition and hold! So you can't really compare all of them

Hi there, if you're using a gel with ingredients that can dehydrate your hair like drying alcohols, then we don't recommend using every 2 days. Our Styling Gel doesn't have alcohol in it so it's totally fine to use more frequently! 😊

Hi! You could possibly try using a smaller amount of product.
Firstly i used to have thick curly hair. But when i started using curly hair products, IT REDUCED MY HAIR DENSITY TO HALF THE PREVIOUS ONE. 😢might be we curly girls are using hair comb on wet hair so as to evenly soread the product on hair. May be this is the reason behind reducing my hair denssity. 😢😢😢 its Thin😢

Hi! You shouldn't need to use a mousse along with styling gel. Styling gel can however, be paired with your custom curl cream.

What's a really good hold drugstore curl cream that I can use on my wavy 2c hair? It falls down to a loose 2b with the one I'm currently using from NYM. I have very long, extremely frizzy, dry hair/ends and I find that although gel holds better, and looks more defined, the first couple days, it just tangles it harder and damages it(even though the gel is alcohol free). They keep reformulating the curl creams that I've used in the past, so I'm really just wanting an affordable cream that's safe and has a stronger defining hold to it. Budget $10 ish.💙🙏🏻

My hair looks sooo similar to urs when it’s wet and I scrunch it up (although it’s longer and my layers are longer aswell so they are probably heavier) and I definitely had really curly hair when i was younger, but my hair just won’t stay curly when I dry it (doesn’t matter if I use heat or not) and I genuinely don’t know what to do
Hey! I had the exact same problem before, and I recommend you using a detox/clarifying schampoo and a deep conditioner for a while so that you curly hair gets cleaned from all that build up over the years, and the conditioner will give your hair moisture, give it some time and hopefully your curls will be revivied! It worked wonders for me, and I have the same hair type as you by the way you are describing it, long with layer and curl types as the woman in the video❤ I hope this helped 😊 Edit: I use cheap drugstore products like cantu and bb curls❤ But experiment a little bit and hopefully your curls will come back to life, but sometimes hair changes over time and can go from curly (in you childhood) to straight (in adulthood) because of hormonal changes, I really hope that helped, sorry for the long comment 😅

Hi! So it actually, depending on the product and how your hair reacts, you can take a spray bottle filled with water or a little leave-in conditioner to reactivate the product already in your hair.
