Girl, I have been trying to learn how to curl my hair for 31 years lol, at 41. I have watched so many tutorials in my hair and never works. This was so easy, and my hair actually looks good. Thank you so much the best part of your video is you didn’t talk about a bunch of useless things that didn’t pertain to the video and take 10 minutes before you start showing us you’re literally the best.
FINALLY! Someone taught me in a way i understand!!! It’s the dip i never understood. After many videos, i finally figured out the away from the face thing/clamp in the front. I had the getting it onto the barrel part down. I had the start at the top part down. But i never understood what my stylist was doing when she unraveled the hair. She tried showing me and i had it in the salon but when i tried it at home a few days later after washing my hair i was like wit wuuut - i couldn’t really remember and it felt all weird. Now all i have to remember is DIP and twist up AGAIN!
I’ve been a hairstylist for 30 years and I’ve never been good at doing those beachy waves with flat irons like the new hairstylist can. Makes me feel like an old horse lol but I just wanted to tell you your tutorial is awesome. You taught me how to do it with a curling iron and that’s what I need it. And you didn’t waste any time like some other people do. Thank you so much

Girl you rock. Watched several tutorials and yours is by far the best. Keep clamp at the top if curl is going away from your face, double twist & double dip under for the length of the hair, pull end straight, voilà! 🙌🏽
Had to come back and comment! My hair is so fine and soft that curls fall immediately. This tutorial actually worked! The only product I used was heat protectant and hair spray at the end. I’m so happy cause I LOVE beach waves. Thank you!!!
I’m 60 and I’m going to try this tonight before meeting my friend for dinner! I’ve also been growing out my gray hair for almost a year so it should look interesting. Lol

finally, the right tutorial for this hairstyle thank you so much! Every tutorial out there just explains extra bouncy curls or coil looking curls that is not the point. I've been trying to do this for years thank you so much. What would you recommend for hair products before and after the curling?

I never knew I could be so incompetent at this. Not only will my hair not hold the curl but when I do your dip method, mine look all uneven. I feel so dumb. I can solder and manipulate metal to a T yet I can't curl my damn hair properly 😭🤣
Spray your hair with hairspray before you curl, and clip the curl flat into place without letting it down. Use a flat Bobby pin or a crease less hair clip to pin the curls in place while you do the rest, pinning each curl. Allowing it to cool before releasing will help your curls to hold. Hope this helps. Also recommend the beachwaver, easiest iron on the market.

I’d just flip my hair over then tousle and finger comb then add texture spray and flip back over, but u got nice smooth silky hair to begin with! Mine would be a hot mess if I just brushed it all back out
