      Those lights wouldn't flicker in a way that's noticeable to us in real life - it's just that the current here is fluctuating not in sync with the camera, so the lights appear to flicker

      Someone on Reddit actually calculated one of the shot's speed.
      Quote: slickestchicken - "The clip at 1:32 shows a street sign flashing 17 times at what I assume is 60Hz. The camera travels about 2.5m in this time so you can approximate the speed at 2.5m/(17s/60)=8.8m/s which is 31.7km/h or 19.7mph. Pretty neat, I wonder what it would look like at higher speeds."

      960fps.. At least that's what it was set to. Not sure if the S10 uses any interpolation or if it's true 960, but it seems to hold up.

      Neither.. the footage is just so slow that any shake in my hand also becomes slow. Slow motion smoothes everything out.

      @@paulchoi5962 It will only record for a few seconds but when you play it back at normal speed it gets expanded out. If you record for 2 seconds at 960 FPS then when you play it back at 30FPS it will be 32 times longer or 64 seconds of footage. what you see in the video is the slow frame footage the real time recording was likely very short.

      Its a combo of the way i colored the video to pop them with contrast and the side movement of the camera. A cinematic technique.

      We only went a tiny bit faster than everyone else, since NYC roads are very congested. No gimbal needed since the motion is so slow that any bumps aren't noticeable.

      One trick is to do it in brighter light or "trick" the camera into treating the scene as brighter. The worst shots for me were in the subway. I only got one barely salvageable shot from there, and that's what's in the video. I fixed the all the colors slightly too.

      It depends on the model. The phone in this video had real 960fps. And as an example, the S21 had three versions; one of them had true 960fps, the other two only interpolated 480fps. I forget off the top of my head which specific variations have what.
