In 4.0 I had an issue where the points of the curve in the 3rd part weren't merged, it was creating unconnected segments. I had to solve this by adding a "Curve to Mesh" - "Merge by Distance" - "Mesh to Curve" set before the "Set Spline Type" node
Use float curve node after spline parameter node and adjust the curve (first point to 1 second point to 0.) Or use map range node and swap the bottom two value inputs.
something seems to be broken with the physics in 4.0 ive tried so many times following everything you did and my particles are not behaving properly. also seems like blender 4.0 is not saving the named attribute.
i had an issue where things weren't 'simulating' correctly and it turns out it was because I added the object info node and then targeted the controller object. When I dragged the object from the hierarchy into the geometry nodes window and used the object info node which that created and everything began to work as expected. Just wanted to leave this here in casae anyone runs into this, also in case anyone knows why this happens?
put geometry switch node before the join geometry node(between points and join geometry). plug the points to switch node's true socket. now you can animate the switch to run/stop simulation at any frame.
Unfortunately, the gray particles never 'appear' for me, despite having the same Geo Node setup (as far as I can tell)🤔wish I knew what I was doing wrong. I'm on Blender 4.0
Just came across this - it worked so well in my project (and I'm using 4.3!). Awesome tutorial. Thank you for sharing this with us
Wow thanx man for toturials for your support i watch many videos of your channel to give some money through the ads again thank you
Proud Sri Lankan here! Thanks so much bro!
Great tutorial! My sound cutout midway through the video and I was still able to follow along with a great outcome.
Excellent. Finally i understand. Hope this still works in 4+
Thanks sm!! I've been searching for this..
You are my new favourite sensei

This is incredible!!
I love it men!
Thank you!
thanks man ❤❤
Super cool! Thanks for such a great tutorial!
Great ✨
Nice, thanks! How I can slow down those emitted particles?
you have to reduce the displacement value. reduce the vector math>scale node value.
you don't know why "relative" cordinates don't work in version 4.0? how can this be repeated in the new version?😭😭 thx a lot❤❤
you always the bestt mannn
Is there a way to export this Particle System in .glb or any format?
the trail radius is the reversed for me - the thicker is the end and not the beginning and i cant figure out why/ how to reverse it? any idea anyone?

Is there any plugin of yours to create basic shape animation

in the geometry node window when i go to add add a node, simulation zone doesn't show up, is there something I have to do beforehand?
Which version of Blender are you using?
@@mdreamslk 3.1.2
simulation zone is not available in 3.1. You need 3.6 or above.
@ ohhhhh okay thank you
how can i bake this particle and trail ? or not possible ?
How I can controll the frame where the sim starts?

Can i make Trail only? Multiple trails, for example to use it for The Flash lightning trail (CW like)
the grey balls appear but they do not follow the controller aaaaa help
Pls make solar beam
for some reason the particle doesn't follow after i add it to the simulation zone
make sure you select the controller object from object info node and set it to relative.
It’s possible to use this effect in like a vfx in a video scene with 3d camera tracking?
Yes

Make sure final node in the node tree connected to the group output node and the viewer node.
When i put the emission in, it doesnt glow... Somebody help please!
If you are using evee to render, make sure bloom is turned on
same problem this fixed it..@@rickyy_shenn
