Nice I believe God has brought me to your videos, reason being, I’ve started planning trips to connect and revive my relationship with God. Seems to be a great way to get away and reflect on Jesus and his path. Thank you
Drew: So happy to hear about your personal revival! How this world is rolling right now, it only strengthen's my faith, because it is going down just as it was prophesied it would!! And for followers it says -"If you HOLD to my teaching, you are really my disciples. THEN you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." - John 8:31. So let's keep HOLDING to the Truth as the world spirals because we will OK when Jesus comes back! Press on brother!
I got a jeep and i like to camp and overland ive done some overlanding in wayne national forest. I wouldnt mind joining you on an adventure sometime. I am a believer in Christ Kingdom also and i love watching your videos
Thanks for watching! I am going to plan a meet up sometime after it cools down. I will push out a video and then those that want to attend can book a site in the state park. It will be good to meet you. Stay strong in the Lord!
MEET UP POSTPONED DUE TO FIRE/FLAME BAND!!! Please try to get refunded. I spoke to the Burr Oak Park Ranger today and he said ALL (Anything) that has a flame (jet boil, lighter, stove, propane anything, anything that creates a flame/spark, etc.) is band right now due to the drought. This band he told me is in effect until we get at least five inches of rain. So with that much rain needed (which I do not see coming), I spoke to a couple other folks signed up and we all agreed, we should postpone until we get the green light, then schedule something. I like cold weather camping anyways! I am sure sorry this did not work out, but we will put something on the calendars once the band is lifted. Please confirm back you got this in the comment section. God bless and stay strong in the Lord!
Great job with the steaks! I take a 20V/60V dewalt flex volt chainsaw (a little pricy) on trips in case I need to clear a trail or campsite. Generally though, I don’t make a fire but, if I did, I would process the firewood with the chainsaw.
Thanks on the steaks! an electric chain saw would be a good idea and can keep it charged with the Jakery. Something to think about. Thanks for watching!
Cory: Yes I do, but this is spot I am keeping to myself for a while :-). Plus part of the fun of overlanding is searching for places like this! Hope you find it!
Well, If you go the Wayne national forest official site, it says you can disperse camp anywhere. That is why there are many hiking trails in a National Forest because if you are hiking you can stop and put up camp. So if you have to be a certain distance off the road, but take a look at the official site to make sure you follow all procedures. there were two fire rings at this particular dispersed site.
I hear it only when I am in 4WD. I have had my front bearings changed about a year ago, but it may be my front drive shaft due to the lift? It only does that sound when I am turning and am in 4WD and not in level situation. Thoughts?
Just saw where you told someone you were keeping this spot to yourself. I respect that. Is there any decent spots you do mind sharing? I would love to have a fun spot or two to go to besides the trailheads
I was thinking the same! I have an Ego 16" with a few extra batteries I can use from my Ego lawn mower and leaf blower. Electric is nice because you don't have to announce to the world that you're cutting wood. Watch for your forest regulations, though... some state that you can only use hand saws on dead/downed wood.
Another great video Matt, Josh seems like a very nice young man. Thanks for the inspiration.
He is good man! Thanks for watching!
My buddy and I plan to do part of the TOT sometime in the middle of May. It would be awesome to get a couple of like-minded folks together.
Let me know when and see if our schedules connect. Thanks for watching!
Nice

Beautiful video thank you.
Thanks for watching !!

Not sure yet, but thanks for watching!

Dayton Ohio in the house Matt keep doing what you doing & have a blessed day brother ✌️
Will do thanks for watching!
What part of Wayne do you typically go to? Close to Athens or close to Ironton?
Close to Logan. Thanks for watching.
Hey Matt, do you have a pin for this spot? on Gaia maybe.
Cory: Yes I do, but this is spot I am keeping to myself for a while :-). Plus part of the fun of overlanding is searching for places like this! Hope you find it!
So how does camping work in WNF can you just camp anywhere you want? Or are there designated spots ?
Well, If you go the Wayne national forest official site, it says you can disperse camp anywhere. i heard clicking, either a drive shaft or front bearings bad

Do you mind sharing this location? I live in Lancaster and been looking for some camping spots out in hocking/wayne
Just saw where you told someone you were keeping this spot to yourself. I respect that. Is there any decent spots you do mind sharing? I would love to have a fun spot or two to go to besides the trailheads
Have you looked up hipcamp sites? I find I can get alone and in the woods, in one case someone has 165 acres and I am all to my self.
What Ranger station unit are you guys in, during filming?
I am not sure, we are in WNF and dispersed camping. I use Gaia GPS to confirm my location and property type. Thanks for watching.
Dude, since you truck camp a lot I suggest am electric chainsaw saves a huge amount of time and you still split by hand, just saying.
Dude! you are right! Thanks for watching! Something I will add to my list!
The Milwaukee 18v chainsaw is a work horse! Great addition to any setup.

I thought you couldn’t cut & burn wood (even downed trees) when at a park?
I was in a National Forest and there are hiking trails where you build campfires and can use dead trees. It’s not a state park. Does that help?
@@rubiconmatt yes it does! Thanks! I enjoy the videos
