This story line was more mature and complex than the first. It pulled the audience in more emotionally than Simon and Daphne. Jonathan Bailey is so exceptional and made this story come to life. Every look, the pitch and pace of his voice. I know it's a guilty pleasure show but this man is exceptional at his craft

yeah... i'm gonna need jonathan bailey to star in anything romantic i watch from now on cuz the way he is one of the best romantic leads i've ever seen. it's actually wild. every expression, every line delivery, every LOOK (!!!), every smile, his mannerisms, his body language, EVERYTHING was just pure perfection. the WAY he delivered his speeches to kate every time as if his want was constricting his throat reducing it to a pained whisper, like it was taking everything in him not to give into it. AN ACTOR. this man is a menace! i could talk about him and these two forever.

I'm Indian and I've had the same squared jaw like Ashley, always was so conscious about it, but seeing her look so gorgeous in this show, I really do realize how important representation actually is.

Why do all these summary videos SKIP the best scene?! Episode 8 when Anthony finds out that Kate is awake after her accident. The raw emotion and relief coming from him... you just feel it. And that Violet recognised it, because that was the feeling she didn't get to have. The love of her life died. I've seen that scene over and over and over and over again.

I love how Kate has replaced some of Anthony's traumatic memories with happy ones. Bees, hunting and Aubrey Hall hold bad memories of his father's death and now will be replaced with happy memories of Kate.
Anthony had such a strong personality that he needed someone like Kate who could challenge him like Daphne said. Kate is an older sibling and they share that 'burden' / responsibility of being the leader of their families. Edwina sweet as she, is just too boring for Anthony. I do not mean this as a diss, but he needed someone who understood him in a way that Kate did. I feel like any one in a leadership position needs a spouse they could lean on. Simone Ashley is a beguiling actor. I predict huge roles for her in the near future. I was completely mesmerized by her performance in every scene. Kate was great but Anthony really sold this. The way he looooooked at her, my GOD. The way he’d whisper to her, GOOSEBUMPS!!! He delivered those lines so god damn well. I’d put this portrayal up there with Macfadyens’ Darcy. JUST SO SO GOOD. I swooned!!
The story arc for Season 1 could only be resolved after the marriage whereas Season 2's resolution was the marriage itself. Rege choosing to not be on the show is why he wasn't in the second season while Daphne was. Expect next season, since the actors that played Anthony and Kate signed on for the next season, to have a lot of happy and married stuff with them. Note, Anthony is the head of the household...and some how they are going to have to teach Kate how to run things. That is a story in of itself.
Kate’s shown wearing cool colored tones of clothing throughout the series while fighting her feelings for Anthony, yet when she admits her love for him in the end, she’s wearing orange, a warm color.
Even better, orange is the compliment to blue. So while she spends a lot of time matching Anthony in the costuming department, in that proposal scene, we see that she also compliments him.
Kates eyes, expressions, voice is so enchanting. I close my eyes and can still see her looking at him like it’s just them two in the whole world. I can’t wait to see her in more shows
I couldn't have imagined in the last season that johny bailey is so attractive and charming he was literally invisible. It goes on to show, how women yearn for gentlemen who love like no other. Even with lesser sex scenes this was beyond sexy. I literally had to gasp for air when they were close. The man written by a WOMAN.
The makeup department did him dirty with those sibeburns,🤣, he is so damn attractive this season!! I adored the tension, and the way he looked at Kate.
Also, just rewatched season 1 (after being obsessed with season 2 and watching that several times), let's just say Anthony was better groomed in season 2 - he looked like a king ready to meet his queen, whereas season 1 his hair and sideburns were out of contro, it was truly shocking and I noticed them a lot because of the contrastl! I think this was strategic to not make us pine for him until his own season of love!

I will never get over the look on Anthony's face when Kate says she loves him. It is sort of shocked and takes him back for a moment. Like he never considered it a possibility. It is very sweet
They way he looks at here gets me EVERYTIME. I’ve always hated romance plots in shows because they were always dull, boring, and just made me want to skip past them. I found that in this show, the romance between these two is all I wanted to watch and I didn’t care much for anything else. IT WAS SO WELL DONE and the actors are amazing and have great chemistry!
At first I was not sure about s2 after seeing Daphne and Duke but the chemistry between Anthony and Kate feels so real ,I just can't get enough of them❤ every scene of them is breathtaking ,I was literally getting butterflies in my stomach and Anthony is mesmerizing throughout the season.
The actor who plays anthony is so talented his eyes say much more than his words could ever... he has so much control over himself and you can see it in the way they darken when he feels desire and soften when he looks at kate with admiration. it's just perfect
Somehow I prefer Anthony and Kate over Daphne and Simon, they had more chemistry somehow and I was way more invested and I'm so in love with Anthony so maybe that's also why... Maybe the story is a bit cliché, enemies to lovers and all that, but I loved it because we all wish real life could be like a fairytale. This show is the epitome of escapism.
The most beautiful development of Anthony is that he didn't believe in love, he was unhappy and serious in the first season, he had an affair with Siena and then came Kate and change his world and point of wiew about being in love with someone. She is her true love😭❤
I read the book years ago and while season 2 wasn’t an exact adaptation of the book these two still managed to capture Kate & Anthony and their love. I’ll never get over these two! 😭 💕🌷

The show only wants to show the tension and less on those things which is nice but also it made some book reader mad. 😅 they want that scene to be shown. Both protagonists acted their asses off. Omg when I tell you that they had me enthralled and entangled in every second of their love, lust and longing. I had thought that season one was phenomenal, and it was, and then season two came and ruined me for good. I thoroughly loved Queen Charlotte's season as well and it is almost impossible to pick between the two, but this, Kate and Anthony, will always have my heart.
I feel slightly ashamed that i’ve watched this season way too many times to the point where I know every words Kate and Anthony said to each other by heart at this point, can’t wait for season 3 ❤

The writers of Bridgerton learned the basic rule of fans and ships. Fans will always ship the first coupling unless someone better comes along, however rare that is. In this instance, they were sad about Anthony and Siena not getting together, but when Kate came along, it was "Who was Siena again?"
Im 28 and it was actually the First Time i ever cried while watching a romantic series or movie, after watching this i want nothing more then Feeling this Kind of Love for atleast 1 day.
Their chemistry was amazing! The actors harmonized beautifully and I could feel every sorrow, sadness, sexual tension, happiness, relief etc. so intensely - very talented lead couple. I cried so many times with them. Season 2 definitely won over 1 one for me.

Anthony had such a strong personality that he needed someone like Kate who could challenge him like Daphne said. Kate is an older sibling and they share that 'burden' / responsibility of being the leader of their families. Edwina sweet as she, is just too boring for Anthony. I do not mean this as a diss, but he needed someone who understood him in a way that Kate did.
I feel like any one in a leadership position needs a spouse they could lean on. Kate was a rock that could keep him standing under the pressure while Edwina was a soft pillow that would put him to sleep lol

Hopefully the future seasons shows that.
The story arc for Season 1 could only be resolved after the marriage whereas Season 2's resolution was the marriage itself. Rege choosing to not be on the show is why he wasn't in the second season while Daphne was. Expect next season, since the actors that played Anthony and Kate signed on for the next season, to have a lot of happy and married stuff with them. Note, Anthony is the head of the household...and some how they are going to have to teach Kate how to run things. That is a story in of itself.
Kate’s shown wearing cool colored tones of clothing throughout the series while fighting her feelings for Anthony, yet when she admits her love for him in the end, she’s wearing orange, a warm color.

I couldn't have imagined in the last season that johny bailey is so attractive and charming he was literally invisible. It goes on to show, how women yearn for gentlemen who love like no other. Even with lesser sex scenes this was beyond sexy. I literally had to gasp for air when they were close. The man written by a WOMAN.

I think this was strategic to not make us pine for him until his own season of love!

This is hands down the most well written love story I have ever seen. Absolutely the best connection of friction and fate, a love no artist can ever replicate.
I will never get over the look on Anthony's face when Kate says she loves him. It is sort of shocked and takes him back for a moment. Like he never considered it a possibility. It is very sweet
They way he looks at here gets me EVERYTIME. I’ve always hated romance plots in shows because they were always dull, boring, and just made me want to skip past them. I found that in this show, the romance between these two is all I wanted to watch and I didn’t care much for anything else. IT WAS SO WELL DONE and the actors are amazing and have great chemistry!
At first I was not sure about s2 after seeing Daphne and Duke but the chemistry between Anthony and Kate feels so real ,I just can't get enough of them❤ every scene of them is breathtaking ,I was literally getting butterflies in my stomach and Anthony is mesmerizing throughout the season.
This relationship reminds me so much of Darcy and Elizabeth in Pride and Prejudice. Just perfection with the chemistry.

Somehow I prefer Anthony and Kate over Daphne and Simon, they had more chemistry somehow and I was way more invested and I'm so in love with Anthony so maybe that's also why... Maybe the story is a bit cliché, enemies to lovers and all that, but I loved it because we all wish real life could be like a fairytale. This show is the epitome of escapism.

The most beautiful development of Anthony is that he didn't believe in love, he was unhappy and serious in the first season, he had an affair with Siena and then came Kate and change his world and point of wiew about being in love with someone. She is her true love😭❤

The show only wants to show the tension and less on those things which is nice but also it made some book reader mad. 😅 they want that scene to be shown. I will say, after episode 3 or 4, the show is no longer following the book. The next episodes are completely new, reasons why some fans are not having it.

I had thought that season one was phenomenal, and it was, and then season two came and ruined me for good. I thoroughly loved Queen Charlotte's season as well and it is almost impossible to pick between the two, but this, Kate and Anthony, will always have my heart.

The writers of Bridgerton learned the basic rule of fans and ships. Fans will always ship the first coupling unless someone better comes along, however rare that is. In this instance, they were sad about Anthony and Siena not getting together, but when Kate came along, it was "Who was Siena again?"
Im 28 and it was actually the First Time i ever cried while watching a romantic series or movie, after watching this i want nothing more then Feeling this Kind of Love for atleast 1 day.
Their chemistry was amazing! The actors harmonized beautifully and I could feel every sorrow, sadness, sexual tension, happiness, relief etc. so intensely - very talented lead couple. I cried so many times with them. Season 2 definitely won over 1 one for me.
