I am so excited to share my story with you! From dropping out, joining the military, transferring schools, and getting waitlisted, it has been a long time getting to this point and I cannot believe nursing school is just around the corner! I hope you'll follow along with me!

“Everybodies timeline is completely different”... YES! Don’t be hard on yourself. I graduated with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice back in 2014 and there are no jobs with my degree where I live. I’ve kept in contact with a good number of people that I graduated with and they haven’t had luck finding a job in the criminal justice field either. So I’m 30 now and I’m a nursing student too! I’m on my second year and I start clinicals next year. So cliché to say.. but everything does happen for a reason. Trust God’s timing. Best of luck to you 💕😊

Wow! Congratulations on getting into Nursing school! Your video has encouraged me so much! I graduated highschool in 2014 and I took 2 years off from school. I finally returned in the Fall of 2019 and have been finishing up my pre reqs. I’m applying to Nursing schools in January and have been super bummed that I’m barley starting my journey. But your video really made me realize everyone’s timeline is completely different. Thanks girl! Goodluck this semester 💓

I’m 20 and just got accepted to nursing schools I’ll be 21 when I start. I’ll be doing an ADN program and then a BSN program. It took me a while to get to nursing but all things are working for my good. I’m confident everything happens for a reason !

I am so glad I found your channel💗 I graduated high school in 2019, took a gap year to save up some money, and this September I am starting my Pre-Nursing program at Pensacola Christian College!!! I love the fact that your a Christian which makes me want to watch you videos even more! Can't wait to follow you through this journey. I know for a fact that you are going to be one of my main sources of motivation throughout my college years💗💗

sis being in the air national guard gives you a major leg up compared to most nursing students. any nursing school that wouldn't want you isn't worth attending. you do you boo

Quick question: Those 5 years before getting in the BSN program, you were studying in something like pre-nursing?
You know, I'm a future international student (hopefully), and I don't know If I should take pre-nursing, or try to get into nursing school directly (it's kind of confusing sorry haha)
Thank you so much! Personally, if I’m understanding the situation, I think prenursing was a great option for me! I didn’t have the pressure of nursing school straight off the bat. I had time in prenursing to learn how to study and how to apply that studying to my exams. You have to look into the pros and cons for yourself too though. If one program is cheaper than the other and money is a factor for you, that may sway you in making a decision! Otherwise, I wish you the very best!!

This is my exact story word to word but only difference is that I'm not a cheerleader nor a national guard. everything else, I swear even my wedding is planned to be in 2022 Jan....holy moly.. after 5 years of college I entered nursing school this aug, I even transferred school and im even in Kappa and transferred from a big to a small school..

Are you able to get school paid for by the Guard? I was active duty in the Navy for 5 years and thank GOODNESS I get nursing school paid for lol and I also want to work in L&D ❤️
