I remember when T&W was coming out. It was always kinda confusing because the characters, setting, etc. seemed to keep shifting (especially before the first episode). Like I distinctly remember watching the TANE switch video and being confused as to who the hell everyone was. I only really understood what was going on when I found out there was a wiki that I could read up on. It may seem weird given how critical I am of ROHV, but oddly enough I can't say I don't enjoy this series. Like sure it was very clearly an impromptu ROHV clone but it still managed to form its own identity kinda. More than most of its contemporaries at least. I guess that can mostly be attributed to the comedic style it was going for. The editing too was much more polished than a lot of other series. I get that at the end of the day it's not something you're proud of, but I do genuinely think that it was the best of its kind. That being said, I can't wait to see the reboot of this series! Ryan's idea for the T&W reboot sounds amazing. I genuinely think that this reboot could potentially bring out the best in what the T&W could've been.
That reboot is being managed by my brother, the creator of The Port Ogden Rail Chronicles. In the meantime, I’ve got some other projects in the works for next year.
