After watching this, I serious believe that Lon'qu should be the father of Gerome. They both are almost the same in terms of personally. And to mention that Cherche knew Lon'qu fear with women from the beginning and she helped him through it. Who agrees?

In this situation alot of the other children don't beleive their parents or they beg for them ti stay down so they don't die again but with these two you can see the trust between them

Please keep in mind that every Future's Past DLC conversation with a child's parent is considered canon, but that's only canon for who that parent is. Yes, you could say that Lon'quxCherche is canon based on this conversation..,but you can easily say the same for Lon'quxLissa based on his talk with Owain or for Lon'quxOlivia with Inigo. It's only canon based on your headcanon. Speaking of, one of the support videos (I believe it's for Tharja and Virion) mentioned that Tharja goes berserk on the Risen after her husband dies just after she threatens Virion to avoid dying on her behalf, so VirionxTharja must be canon. However, Tharja going berserk was only mentioned between Noire and Frederick in Future Past Part 1, and there, obviously Frederick was the father and not Virion. True, Tharja may go berserk no matter who her husband is when he perishes, just as Miriel's body is never found regardless of who her husband is, but you can't just use someone else's Future Past conversation to support a different pairing since they're two different canons. In fact, there's absolutely no need to as they all support the pairing chosen by the player. Yes, some pairings may fit better than others (for instance I'm more fond of Lon'quxCherche because it provides closure for Lon'qu's backstory, but others could say the same thing for GregorxCherche or Lon'quxTharja), and you can try to justify, support, and possibly fight for your pairing's right to be the true canon, yet every pairing is canon (yes, even ChromxVillageMaiden is canon despite the game pushing so hard on ChromxSumia) so it's pointless to do so because none of them are a true canon pairing; just whether it is canon or not in your game/your interpretation of the story of Fire Emblem: Awakening is up to you. All you need to say is "I like X&Y together" to make it your canon, and that's all that needs to be said. You can go beyond the bare minimum, but there's no need to fight or start a flame war over whose canon is right as they're all right.

I can honestly see Lon'qu and Cherche being Canon, as well as Lon'qu be the daddy of Gerome, it's a perfect fit!
Lonqu really softened up whenever it came to family things, yet it never seemed out of character.
Lon'qu's the only dad that tries to pretend he's someone else with Gerome, which is hilarious and very fitting. XD
Gaius does also try to hide tho.
So, this is what happens when Past Batman, (Lon'qu), meets Present Batman(Gerome). It's cooler than I expected.
