- Apparently the first time Noel has performed this as a solo artist, and last time sung in 1997 with Oasis.
Part of a wonderful show curated by Paul Weller to celebrate the 90th year of Sir Peter Blake, with performances from musicians who have worked with or been influenced by his work.

I grew up with Oasis. I loved them in the 90s, went stale on them in the 00s. I wasn't so bothered when they split, there was a sense that it was probably time. But, now, as I slip towards middle-age and my youth disappears behind me, I would pay anything to see them at it again. Please do it, and take my money.
I do want a reform and I don’t , I didn’t and then when the documentary came out within 2 minutes I was wanting my band back , can’t imagine the hassle of getting tickets mind !

I love them and saw them in 97 at Earls Court with the verve, I want to see them again but not at a Knebworth size venue. Unfortunately even if they did reform one more time it will never feel like the 90s again, best Era for me and they are right Knebworth 96 was the last time before the digital age kicked in we would ever get that same feeling and again.

If they werent brothers youd never compare Noel and Liam. Two entirely different muscians. Liam is out and out rock and roll. Noel puts emotion and soul into the songs

Really good to see him vary up the Oasis set a bit...love him to dig more stuff out of the Oasis back cat and make it his own. Noels setlist have been rather static over the last few years when he's got so much to choose from.
He hasn't played this since the 2000's. I also don't understand why he hated this song so much. It's one of his best and the bands best. Just because the album failed to hold up to Public expectation doesn't mean the entire thing was crap. Great song. Glad to hear Noel and Liam play these tunes in recent years. Cheers.

Don’t get me wrong.. in my eyes it’s Liam over Noel however it just makes you realise how important oasis are too people! Incredible tunes that will always stand the test of time 🎶🪄
That's the thing about oasis, it's these songs that are so important. They themselves used to say its about the image, the look and the attitude as well as the music, but the rest is just bullshit. The tunes just live inside us.
His version in Dublin at ‘Noel gets to the point’ in 97 was amazing . Not sure about this one tho
I was there in Dublin everyone talks about the decline of Liam’s voice but Noel’s voice is nowhere what it was back in the day still an absolute legend in my eyes

Yeah, Noel has worked on his singing since he went solo and is technically a better singer than he was in the 90s. But he's lost that purity. But I suppose, as he said himself, he's not 25 on the dole and angry anymore so why sing that way.

For me personally this song, Don’t Go Away, I Hope I Think I Know and Stay Young - not just my favourite Oasis songs, some of my all time favourite songs in history

love it when noel sing it, its sound almost like a sting song with some country music in it.
I wonder if he'll start performing "D'You Know What I Mean?" and "Don't Go Away" again. I know he holds a low opinion of _Be Here Now_ as a whole, but he evidently doesn't dislike every song on it.
He only dislikes it because he blames himself for not making it as good as it possibly could have been due to his coke addiction at the time.
