Thanks man learning made simple. Someone post an 18 min video on how to play this song. I was like, "Are you kidding me, why make it so complicated?" You made it easy to learn by simply playing it and putting tabs on the bottom. That be cool if you could put down notes on a treble cleff staff too. Thank you once again for making it simple and easy to learn.
Those extended tutorials are useful for very very beginners, and I guess they are made with good intentions, but if you know to read a tab, it's enough watching how someone plays it, and eughteen minutes can be an eternity hehe
@@WellFireProject I agree. I'm well advanced in playing. It is much easier for me to pick up a tune. Either way I feel 18 mns for a simple riff is too long. I saw a youtube video where this guy shows how to play the guitar solo to "Symphony of Destruction" by Megadeth. The video was 9 mns long. He made it simple enough for even the beginner to learn quick. No music theory, no side tracked lessons. Just straight to the point. learned the solo within a day. Im sure you know where Im coming from when I say 18 mns for a simple riff is too long Ahaha.

I like how you played it with a pick and the way you positioned the pick closer to the bridge, & the diagonal attack angle on the string; I saw them live recently and that’s exactly how he did it! Question: what kind of strings/bass? In the original, he probably used flats, hence your sound is brighter. Also, never saw using the open A w/the stab to D string 12th fret on the chorus, but I like it, and alternated it w/the 5th&7th fret A’s - sounds good and makes it more interesting for me!!
Hello! The position of the pick near the bridge is just casuality; I always play that way. The bass (Ibanez SR1000) was bought second hand, I don't know anything about its strings. I don't care too much about the sound, just play the song and insert the tab. Good idea alternating the stab with 7th fret A’s! But I think the original song makes the "stab" in 14th fret D's. Thanks for your comment! ;-)

I'm gonna attempt to adopt your picking technique...
I think mine is not the most correct pick technique... In theory, you must catch the pick in a different way, but I guess you mean you want to learn just to play with pick, but not exactly like me...
Anyway, if you know to play with finges, you are lucky and you don't know pick ;-)

Maybe you like, maybe it sounds good, but the theory is other... Anyway, you should play like you feel your hand more confortable, or more fast/precise
@@WellFireProject i know... I rarely use a pick anyway but certain songs sound far superior with one so it's worthwhile for me to work on it

What does the c mean in the chorus
C = Catorce (spanish) = fourteen (english) = 14 (freet). To preserve tempo on the tab, I only use one digit, so for freets up to 9 I use letters

ya la he estado improvisando pero a veces es mas fácil cuando sacan las tablaturas jejeeje. en sí yo toco más la guitarra. pero ahorita un buen amigo me propuso que en un evento salga yo apoyando lo con el bajo y pues me lo estoy aventando. :)
@@WellFireProject ya vi el video, esta bien. nada más que como apenas me estoy familiarizando con el bajo, veo algo incomodo el que en ese video utiliza un bajo de 5 cuerdas y hace pisadas de acuerdo a ello y ahí me salgo del tradicional bajo de 4 cuerdas. :O

Maybe... but I don't know to play with fingers. Anyway, the active bass and the ecualization make the sound still more "sharp", is not only the pick.
@@WellFireProject no, please dont missunderstand me, you ve made a fine video which helped me preparing for a rehearsal in a new band. thanks for that. i tried to play with a pick but doesnt work out so well for me. i m using an active bass too and my amp is quite nice so it sounds great :D

El Basso when using a pick with a bass you need to find the sweet spot when picking. Mines is near the neck. Getting the right size and thickness of pick helps out as well
Only complaint is you putting C instead of 14. What's that all about?
Because every note must be a single number (only one digit). 14 could be mistaken with 1 + 4, so I use letters. C = Catorce (fourteen in spanish). It's a very rustic tab, sorry, but I think it can be understood ;-)

@@Fireglo Every tab has space for 16 + 16 + 16 + 16 notes. If I use brackets then I "waste" 4 spaces only for one not and then nothing fits...
