The guy at the battery shop didn't know how to replace the battery in my remote. I came home, found your video and had it replaced in less than 2 minutes. Thanks for the demonstration of how easy it is.
Having some issues with my key fob push start as well. It finally let me start my Armada, but has a no key warning on the dash, I guess meaning the vehicle will cut off on me going down the road? Not sure how to fix that or if the battery needs to be absolutely replaced in the keyfob too?
I'm not sure on Armada specifically but usually once a vehicle has been started, it will drive as normal until the vehicle is turned off - even with a no key warning. A new key fob battery would defiantly be first place to start.
I can confirm this actually does work and you can open a locked door without a working remote. There's a tab on the back of the fob, you pull the tab, a literal key pops out. Use the key to open the door

Omg THANK YOU so much for this! We rented an Armada to travel across a couple states for a funeral and both the FOB and the spare FOB they gave us died! We panicked for a minute thinking we were stranded, but after Googling your tip saved the day!
I’m having an issue where my 2019 won’t start , it takes several tries . My steering wheel comes down my seats adjust and lights come on but it doesn’t start . Any thoughts ?
My 2019 did this and was a brake sensor that had to be replaced. It even caused an error with the BCI and would show BCI Malfunction. The new sensor fixed the starting issue as well as the BCI issue.
You mean the emergency key that is in the Bottom of the key fob? That is only used to unlock the drivers door incase of a dead battery in the vehicle or fob
If this doesn’t work, the other issues are likely the vehicle battery or the battery fuse that’s attached to the positive cable. I’d first start with the less expensive option which is removing and checking the battery fuse as a new one is about $30 at Auto Zone (you’ll likely visually see a break in the battery fuse if that’s the issue). It’s easy to remove and replace and if that’s the issue you’re on the road again in 20 minutes. Dealership will likely charge $75 for the part and $130 for an hour of labor. If that doesn’t work, it’s likely the battery.

How would we know somebody hand over you a working Fob on your left hand and "no key" means you cannot open a locked door either.

Have you tired replacing the battery in the remote?
My 2017 did this, and it ended up being the brake sending unit. wasnt too expensive to fix and your's is probably still under warranty.
