I have been avoiding the mask option for so long thinking it was going to be a complicated to use tool, but in the end it was so simple, thank you for the explanation
If you are new to Blender then I can recommend you to start with my Beginner course at www.udemy.com/course/full-game-ready-character-creation-for-beginners-in-blender/?couponCode=LETSLEARNMODELLING or if you prefer you can get the same course in Patreon at: www.patreon.com/DragonBlendz there you will get all the knowledge you seek :)
How I get the scales onto my lizard (or in my case mosasaur)? I have a low poly model "flat" without any scales nd a very high poly model with all those scale and skin textures... Baked into a 20k Model... But I just see the scales in Shading mode. in Layout, sculpting and other sections I just see my low poly model... I want to paint different scales in different colours, but for this I have to see those scales :D
Hi, if you baked the texture, your scales are just a part of that texture, you can see the scales only if you enable the "Material Preview" viewport shading in each layout (layout, Modeling). Also, feel free to check out my course in Udemy www.udemy.com/course/full-game-ready-character-creation-for-beginners-in-blender/?couponCode=LETSLEARNBLENDERART where we make the lizard from start to finish :)
Before you texture paint you need to Uv Unwrap your model, also I explain it in details in my new course. Here is it with the discount code: www.udemy.com/course/full-game-ready-character-creation-for-beginners-in-blender/?couponCode=LETSLEARNBLENDER :)

5:20 How did you mirror the brush?
Hi, you will find it at 10:28
For some reason, my blender keeps telling me that there are missing UVs so I cannot paint.
