One of the legends from my youth! His Girl part with the Interpol Soundtrack or his transworld part in Modus operandi were both unbelievable. He is one of the best to ever do it and a really humble dude! Cool that he still skates and has fun on the board. 9inch board is crazy! LOL! I am oldschool guy and ride 7,75. HAHA

I’ve been a fan of his since I was 10 yrs old(31 now) and I have always been stoked when he released a new part or just a little clip .. Something about his style.. clean.. but hesh… but fresh haha.

I just love how particular we all are with our ride.... Tensors loose, 8.0", bones, classic, spits 49 or 50mm worn down to much smaller, no spacers, and bolts loose.
AF177 is my favorite truck. I love them on a 9- 66 Classic are great too, but classics are even better with AF1 pivot cups.

Back in the day when Brian was ripping, boards nine inches wide didn’t even exist. I’m 6’5” and have always had trouble finding wide boards and long wheelbases. Even five years ago Antihero wasn’t making nine inch boards. But now that they are maybe it’s time for a new setup. It’s so great to see all sizes of boards ridden nowadays!

That anti hero 9’ board I swear looks good under everyone’s feet except mine! I’ve always wanted one but when I got to the shop an stand on it I just can’t commit to it because of how long it is! I’m pretty sure it’s like 33.1 inches!

I wear size 10.5 shoes and always skated 8" decks like everyone else but when it came time to get a new deck I was like f it and got a 9" board and it just feels so right. I never understood why bigger boards are so looked down upon

Brake cleaner also works well for removing graphics from wheels. Once you do that , just go over the same area with a paper towel and a dab of WD40.

I know BA just said this, but are GT Blazers good for wide feet? I found a Blazer High in a size 13 at a Zumiez (It was the only place where I can get them without ordering online), and they felt narrow. I was so disappointed.
Don't do it man worse purchase i bought from Nike went up half a size but it was too much
GT blazers are pretty skinny imo. i dont have particularly wide feet and my pair feel pretty slim, comparable to a vans old skool id say
I literally haven't found a Nike I can comfortably skate in. Always too narrow, and sizing up just makes them too long and doesn't even help with the width issue enough.
@@AlexNiedt Damn. Nike needs to make wider skate shoes. In fact, all shoe companies need to. It's getting hard out here!! Lol.
The best ones I found for me were the New Balance 440s (low and high), but I heard that even the fitting for those shoes can be inconsistent depending on the colorway.
@Louis T. Sanville I actually skated a few pairs of the 440H! I liked them, but I actually did feel like one pair/colorway felt different. Thought I was crazy, haha. Been skating the Axion Genesis Mid for over a year now, just pair after pair. Perfect for my feet

Width doesn’t affect u nearly as much as that 15” wheelbase will! Idk how he can skate that!!! D-Ways Mega Ramp setup is only 14.75” wheelbase, lol

@@ssbsts1239 i skate 8.5s and up with 14.5 or greater wheel base, im only 5'10. For me it feels like the longer board fits better to my lower body half, idk why so flips feel not as awkward than a 14 inch WB
Being tall helps. I'm 6'4 and had that exact same anti-hero board he has in the video with Indy 169s on it a year ago. It was probably the best feeling board I've ridden in a while. And I skated all types of terrain with it. I'm currently skating an 8.75 but I'm going back to a 9 as soon as it takes a shit on me
@@frankrotthier4392 Ya.... I get that but 6’ 3” is way too short for a 15” WB I cud see maybe Donta Hill skating 15” but even then it seems excessive! I truly don’t think wheelbase for street shud ever be over 14.75 bc even if u love how it feels ur gunna lose a lottttt of shit. I’m 6 foot and I can tre flip consistently any stance on 14” to 14.25” but anything 14.38 and up it’s legit impossible it’s like skating a longboard!
