I’ve been a fan of his since I was 10 yrs old(31 now) and I have always been stoked when he released a new part or just a little clip .. Something about his style.. clean.. but hesh… but fresh haha. Forgot to add that his part got me hooked on the band Interpol… Dan ever since
One of the legends from my youth! His Girl part with the Interpol Soundtrack or his transworld part in Modus operandi were both unbelievable. He is one of the best to ever do it and a really humble dude! Cool that he still skates and has fun on the board. 9inch board is crazy! LOL! I am oldschool guy and ride 7,75. HAHA
The amount of insanity he puts into setting up his boards makes me feel right at home!! I know the craziness of wanting the boards to be a certain way all too well! 😁😁
I just love how particular we all are with our ride.... Tensors loose, 8.0", bones, classic, spits 49 or 50mm worn down to much smaller, no spacers, and bolts loose.
Back in the day when Brian was ripping, boards nine inches wide didn’t even exist. I’m 6’5” and have always had trouble finding wide boards and long wheelbases. Even five years ago Antihero wasn’t making nine inch boards. But now that they are maybe it’s time for a new setup. It’s so great to see all sizes of boards ridden nowadays!
Hehe, he seems more herbal now compared to some other interview i watched a while back when he was talking about him having a battle with drinking. -its great, the hardships and the process of participating in the human experience is an exploration for sure♡♡♡
Facts. He's definitely more relaxed since he's sober and revealed that he is gay, I'm sure it took alot of guts to do both. Brian is a legend and has contributed alot to skateboarding.
BA rulez! the grip tape jobs is underrated/nostalgic, remember used to see OGs having those type of grip patterns when I started skating around 2009/2010
i remember watching this guys section on girl yeah right. but didnt really know what he looked like and the person who i thought of was kenny anderson on adio. kenny was dope.
That anti hero 9’ board I swear looks good under everyone’s feet except mine! I’ve always wanted one but when I got to the shop an stand on it I just can’t commit to it because of how long it is! I’m pretty sure it’s like 33.1 inches!
Brian: Talking about his "other board" Me: " I love seeing THIS board, but I wish we got to see both." Brian: "so this is my OTHER board..." Me: "yesss they know me so well"
I wear size 10.5 shoes and always skated 8" decks like everyone else but when it came time to get a new deck I was like f it and got a 9" board and it just feels so right. I never understood why bigger boards are so looked down upon
I know BA just said this, but are GT Blazers good for wide feet? I found a Blazer High in a size 13 at a Zumiez (It was the only place where I can get them without ordering online), and they felt narrow. I was so disappointed.
I literally haven't found a Nike I can comfortably skate in. Always too narrow, and sizing up just makes them too long and doesn't even help with the width issue enough.
@@AlexNiedt Damn. Nike needs to make wider skate shoes. In fact, all shoe companies need to. It's getting hard out here!! Lol. The best ones I found for me were the New Balance 440s (low and high), but I heard that even the fitting for those shoes can be inconsistent depending on the colorway.
@Louis T. Sanville I actually skated a few pairs of the 440H! I liked them, but I actually did feel like one pair/colorway felt different. Thought I was crazy, haha. Been skating the Axion Genesis Mid for over a year now, just pair after pair. Perfect for my feet
Since I've posted my comment, I've found the exact GT Blazers at my local Zumiez. They were on sale, and they just so happened to have my size. So, I decided to take a chance. And... ***Drum Roll*** It Fits. Nearly perfect. A bit hard to get in, but little if any snug around the toe box. Finally bought it yesterday, two weeks after I tried them on. And yes, I plan on buying another pair.

Dude yeah that Interpol song is one of the more iconic video part songs imo
It fit well with his unique style
I respect this man so much. Genuine talent, heart, creativity, and true to himself.
Now what does he do with all of his broken boards?
Let's pray for the guy. He's been up to some darkness, hopefully he can be reborn 🙏
What darkness?@@galvanizedgnome
I love when legend pros still being creative how they setup their boards its shows their own personalities❤️
The amount of insanity he puts into setting up his boards makes me feel right at home!! I know the craziness of wanting the boards to be a certain way all too well! 😁😁
BA is so rad!
i was hoping for this one after his stop and chat !
thank you guys !
We love ya man. Mad respect for your skating throughout the years.
Anyone that says otherwise can SMD
Mike Nyc 13th St. 1990 baby !

The ace 66 are the 9 inch truck ... 77 are 9.5s ... I got some 60s .. love em
I gave BA a cigarette in downtown Mannheim Germany on a Savier tour. I felt accomplished
That's really cool. What kind of cigarettes were they, and were they the type of cigs he smoked?
Savier, best quality ever!

Humble brag
Brians new book will be out next month : Frontside Blunts-Backside Stunts. Pre Order now!

BA seems like a chill dude to hang with. I used to hype on his smith grinds. He has a mean tré too, his part in Yeah Right was killer.
Such a humble flex that he has been connected to Supreme since '94
This dude sounds so mellow, I love it 😆

SO AWESOME !!!! Love these
Tall dude on the 15" WB. YOU KNOW IT!
I always have wanted a set of ACE trucks. They look sooooooo good and I hear they are amazing
That orange eagle is one of the best shapes period.
AF177 is my favorite truck. I love them on a 9- 66 Classic are great too, but classics are even better with AF1 pivot cups.
I agree hard with the classic graphic. I need a small swirl. Why I ride the purple og 58s as primary.
Keep these going!
Coconut oil is the secret to his sick style. Keep being you Brian
Even the 9” looks like a toy next to this gentle giant lol
Love this guy! Love ACE trucks, Spitfire wheels and Deluxe boards too 😅
Always so good to see BA man. Rad skater and top guy
BAs rad AF!!Spitty lock ins 55s my new jam🤘

Such a chill dude
PUTS THE LOTION ON YOUR BOARD!!!
That spray paint around the edge actually looks really cool
The humble shredder 🙌🔥
Awesome setup brother
He looks like Tom Green in the thumbnail
I think theyre the same dude, just when Tom wants to really skate, he becomes Brian.
I thought i was the only one to put those price stickers on my trucks/ board..
Thanks, enjoy your day too!
Thank you
These set up videos are my favorite! 🙃

That sweet bearing sound !
I love seeing people breakdown their setup. It's incredible how a simple item can have so many variations and personality.

His board the 9in is 33.25 long I looked, and the jessup grip is 33 in long even the 10 in,
Make this man some 35 in long sheets.
I saw he has an entire roll of Jessup grip at home on his Insta so that shouldn’t be a problem 😊
@@frankrotthier4392 maybe they sent him the roll so he could cut it himself. Lol

BA is rad as fuck. He has always been a straight up skate rat. Him coming out was also cool as hell. Much respect to him.
BA is a legend
🔥🔥🔥
Wheel base is way more important than board length. Agree with BA on that
BA is a rad dude
hell yes
just a classic
I gotta try some of those new formula 44’s
Sick breakdown. Now get Milton Martinez on!
More important what size was the green fakie variel board? Not a 9.0
